My how time flies when you're trying to get Vertex counts down to a minimum, or whatever the saying is. Crystals are finally "Done", with only minor tweaks ahead. Check out the Dev Log below for a full list of changes, fixes, and improvements:Added Features:

  • New Asteroids and Crystals! Tons of work went in to these.

  • Can now see smaller amounts of resources in the Satellites. Will display if a sat has 0.1 resources available.

  • New Main Menu scene.

  • Changed Company Name from “default company” to Quack Reactions.

  • Added an Icon for Project Sol launchers.

Bug Fixes:

  • Can now select a different Solar System with the Camera.

  • Can pan the camera while in other Systems.

  • Dev Options can now use decimal values properly.

  • When a Satellite is Boosted using a power, that Satellite now resets itself properly.

  • Upgrades can now use decimal values.

  • Upgrades with decimal values now display correctly.

  • Several fixes for the Workshop Satellite.

  • Economy charts now scale with various screen resolutions.

  • Changed Load order so the Material Controller doesn’t crash out when changing options.

Optimizations:

  • Got the Rock/Crystal combo to a reasonable Vertex count.

  • Reworked the Asteroid Controller system. Much more performant now.

  • Got rid of the background image of a Mine on the Upgrade menu items.

Balancing:

  • Control Nodes cost less Time.

  • Replaced Health upgrades on Mines with Storage upgrades.

Here's a before and after of the crystal asteroid meshes:
