ShipShaper: Falconeer Chronicles · published · build 25121924

Hi everyone, Based on several requests, and cuz I agreed It'd be fun, I've made a new feature. "Full Physics" : Turn on the full physics and the ship swaps from the arcade-ey stabilized physics to a full model evaluation of the ship's hull, superstructure and outriggers. the weight of the gun and above the line structures will impact the stability of your ship.
Here's a quick video.. H
Have fun testing some of those monstrosities, because I also added a proper weighting calculation, so if your hull cannot float the weight,, down you go..
Cheerio, Tomas (Don't forget to leave a review, 10 short of a 100 that would make it "overwhelmingly postive" for the last 30 days.. which would be a great boon to survival.
Some other small requests and bugs where also handled in the last few days.
Added a new full physics button that will allow ships to list, keel over and sink. stability is derived from hull rations, superstructures, gun weight, riggers and so forth.
improved and optimized the funnel smoke so it's less of a system drain
if you have no autosaves it will show the help menu when you boot the game for the first time
middle hull themes change back to the previous theme after selecting the whaleback bow (which changes the middle to the humb, this now reverts to what it was before)
made a new lighter smoke particlefx, that is properly lit by the boat and sky
made medium and small emplacements be smaller (wider scale range)..
added review reminders the 3rd and 5th save time or first time you submit a ship (only then ever, and only once if you pressed the button)
made gafs longer per request
made the scale of medium and small emplacements have a wider range (can get smaller)
added extra scaling option to the rigger so it can be more versatile
prevented infinite darktide foil spamming
fixed in delete mode that if you click on the hull and then want to first delete something else it deselects the hull first so you get proper roll overs
when copying a mast the sails shouldn't crunch anymore
