New Features

  • Added a new Accessibility option, "Readable Font" (Options > Accessibility, below 4-Line Flash): when enabled, swaps small/body text (name labels, descriptions, tooltips, HUD numbers) to a plain cross-platform sans font, while headers, titles, and large display numbers keep the game's pixel font. Off by default.


Balance

  • 20G challenge's lock delay doubled (0.5s to 1.0s) to compensate for the removed falling-reaction window.

  • The Chrono gem (halves fall/attack speed) now also doubles the lock-delay window while active, matching its "everything about this piece slows down" theme. Stacks multiplicatively with 20G.


Quality of Life

  • Added a visual lead-in to the piece lock flash: the falling piece now progressively brightens while grounded-but-not-yet-locked, so the flash reads as the culmination of a build-up instead of a sudden, disconnected cue.

  • Reshaped the windowed-mode title bar from a full-width strip into a centered trapezoid, so it no longer overlaps and steals clicks from the gem-bag button and relic-bar icons on the Map/Gem Vendor/Shop headers. Minimize/maximize/close icons were also redrawn for cleaner, evenly weighted strokes.

  • The Prize Wheel event now has sound: a tick that speeds and slows with the spin, a positive chime on a good result, and a distinct negative sound on a bad one.


Fixes

  • Fixed settings (volume, cursor size, DAS delay, border style, font size, etc.) silently resetting to default on every restart when Steam Cloud sync was active.

  • Fixed winning a run, or exiting to the main menu after a boss kill, and clicking "Continue" from the Start Screen sometimes dropping you onto a dead-end map with no available nodes instead of offering a fresh run.

  • Fixed exiting to the main menu mid-battle (Pause > Menu) and clicking "Continue" silently skipping the in-progress fight instead of resuming it.

  • Fixed the run-summary card on the Victory screen not lining up with the screen's own background grid.

  • Fixed the saved windowed size occasionally getting zeroed out if the current screen briefly reported invalid dimensions.
