Hello everyone!
Pumpkin Woods officially launches on Steam tomorrow, September 7th!
It’s been a long journey and I’m so excited to finally open the doors to the main game!

Gameplay
- Added 3 new biomes (Enchanted Forest, Mining Town, The Swamp)
- Added 5 new NPC quests
- New NPC with a suspicious shop
- Additional tutorial quests
- Combat and harvesting resources are faster and smoother
- Furniture, potions and the wagon are now craftable
- Chests in witch huts may contain more loot
- Added a new animation when observing
- Player is able to warm up near a lit fireplace
- Precious gems can be obtained with a pickaxe in the mine
- Added hummingbirds and weeping trees to the Swamp biome
- Added hummingbirds, butterflies and creep vines to the Enchanted Forest
- Added caves with a high concentration of minerals
- Added an advanced book of furniture
- Added scrolls to mud chests
- Improved item selection at the shops
- Additional voice lines for each shop
- Player can give away common items at the shops (sticks, rocks, etc)
- Tamed unicorn hops when told to follow

- Increased hitbox of campfires so they can be destroyed with an axe

Balance
- Hunger depletes 8% slower
- Thirst depletes 17% slower while sleeping
- Map generation now guarantees at least 2 zones per biome
- Increased quantity of minerals on the map
- Pumpkin pie now provides 33% more happiness
- Honey gives +2 happiness and requires 50% less flowers
- Increased wendigo HP by 30%
- Reduced snake HP by 60%
- Increased snake damage by 140%
- Reduced rabbit HP by 50%
- Reduced frog HP by 75%
- Chests from dig spots may also contain copper ore and ingots
- Gold, silver and copper ores mined increased from 1-3 to 2-4
- Rebalanced loot chance of bookcases and barrels in the Mine Town biome
- Increased stack size of several items
- Some items will take longer to spoil
- Reduced HP of several constructions
- Minor shop price adjustments
Quality of Life
- New save system with multiple save slots
- Implemented autosave on exit and every 5 minutes
- Minimap is now round for better visibility
- Added a 'transfer all' button between inventory and storage
- Added inverted Y axis settings
- Double click on an inventory slot will consume, open, equip or read item
- Alt + click will drop an item from inventory, basket or storage
- Open storage will act as a fallback instead of dropping items on the floor
- When building, constructions will appear red if too far from the player
- Pinned quests now display icons
- Dialogue text will display faster
- Improved lighting performance
Bug Fixes
- Player now properly sleep on beds
- Fixed a bug where baskets could disappear
- Outfit is now properly saved on the save file
- Fixed an issue where there was a long delay between player attacks
- Fixed a bug where cats could not be tamed if the cheese slice was in a basket
- Fixed an issue where scrolls would respawn multiple times
- Fixed a bug where deer and other animals would unnaturally follow the player
- Added missing interaction tooltip for the wagon, stool and ladders
- Fixed a bug where the player could not toggle speed while in dialogue
- Fixed a bug where items would refuse to split while there was space in the basket
- Fixed a bug where items could disappear from the inventory on a failed split
- Fixed a bug where items would create 2 stacks if the original stack was in a basket
- Fixed missing LOD for the tent
- Fixed a rare bug where the initial quest would not trigger when having a saved game
- Minor fixes and adjustments
