It was a windy day on the Seven Seas and the water was restless. Amara Machado, with mandate from the Admiral himself, set out with a whole fleet of ships to deliver several punishing attacks on local harbors tipped for pirate activity. Many were killed, many more captured to be hanged later.
Thanks to a timely tip from one of the locals, a raid on a shabby old pirate tavern proved to be especially fruitful. Many well-known pirates were captured in one fell swoop, almost as if providence itself had brought them into the pirate hunter’s grasp.

A prison galleon, and in her guts, a quintet of unlikely acquaintances:
Teach, the old, disgruntled legend. Hungover, but hungry for power and domination.
Scarlet, the wildcat full of vinegar, yearning for glory.
Kanja, the cunning spice lord, penniless and ready for one last play.
Honorata, the rising star striving for freedom and mastery of the sea.
And finally, Rambullion, the old tavernkeep who never gave up on the dream of a pirate haven unified under one flag, and who carried the explosive key to their freedom.
By the inscrutable powers of the vast blue, a perfect storm was forming on the horizon of history, one that could change the Seven Seas forever.
One big fat powder keg, ready to explode. All it needed was a spark.
