Hey Mateys,

We’re back with another update for Corsair Cove, and this one brings some of the most requested features and improvements from you, our community!

We’ve been keeping a close eye on your feedback, and several of the features you’ve been asking for are now making their way into the game. From automatic trading and automatic ship repairs to more control over the sun and a new option to automatically resolve certain events, this update gives you more freedom to shape your island and your adventures across the seven seas.

Features, Improvements & Fixes


  • Added an option to "send your crew without their captain" to automatically resolve certain events.
  • Added an option to adjust the sun to no longer be fixed to the camera.
  • Added an option on the pier to automatically repair a ship once it returns from a journey.
  • Added an option to auto-trade resources on the trading post.
  • Added incremental placement cost for specific principle buildings.
  • Added an info layer specifically showing the content of all warehouses across the island.
  • Added world visuals to events all across the seven seas.
  • Cursed dice from the "Voodoo Shack" building are now visualized while in battle.
  • Status effect duration is now shown in cards and outcome screens.
  • Improvements to ship battle visual effects.
  • Multiple improvements to icons, effects and UI.
  • Hiding the UI for photo mode now also hides the mouse cursor.
  • Multiple fixes and small changes to the Devil's Basin uncharted events.
  • Improved captain perk representation and related tooltips.
  • Improved visibility on fertile areas when zoomed out.

Stability


  • Fixed several crashes that could occasionally occur during gameplay.
  • Fixed a crash occasionally occurring when on route to events and discovery points.
  • Fixed a crash rarely occurring on restarting any map.

Placement and Economy


  • Fixed certain deposits occasionally not connecting due to adjacent buildings.
  • Fixed multiple inconsistent snapping and auto-connection behaviours.
  • Fixed multiple instances of incorrect or confusing highlights.
  • Fixed multiple connection issues when deleting buildings.
  • Fixed multiple issues relating specifically to plateau-to-cliff placement.
  • Fixed transit structure costs not being refunded when they are automatically deleted with a building.
  • Fixed disconnected overlay occasionally not working correctly.
  • Fixed pirate camps not generating auto-connections on other buildings or transit structures.
  • Fixed occasional placement through cliffs.
  • Fixed visual gaps in long roads.
  • Fixed multiple instances of path-finding behaviour on fetchers.
  • Fixed fetchers still getting resources to buildings even after a pirate camp is deleted.
  • Fixed the amount of fetched resources occasionally not updating correctly.
  • Fixed storage capacity for input goods being increased after enabling "All Hands on Deck" on any production building.
  • Fixed the "Iron Mine" and "Iron Caster" buildings requiring hardwood instead of planks for construction.
  • Fixed agents occasionally glitching when walking on slopes.
  • Fixed inconsistencies when cancelling a suspended economy line.

Interface


  • Fixed issues with arrow key remapping leading to double bindings in the control settings.
  • Fixed highlighted battle cards being slightly blurry.
  • Fixed missing highlights in the event tutorial.
  • Fixed multiple overlaps and too small tooltips.
  • Fixed that support actions showed name and icon of stats twice in their tooltip.
  • Fixed the display of upkeep values occasionally flickering.
  • Fixed upkeep values not displaying correctly when the stored resource exceeds 1000.
  • Fixed wrong icons on proclamation events in the journal.
  • Fixed inconsistency in captain perk icons.
  • Fixed missing icon on losing a captain.
  • Fixed certain button prompts occasionally showing up without description.
  • Fixed the Tutorial fortification repairing hint occasionally getting stuck when repairing buildings immediately.
  • Fixed wrong warning error during the tutorial when building a pirate camp near a guano deposit.

Events and Seven Seas


  • Fixed occasionally principle points not being rewarded properly after loading a save file.
  • Fixed the difficulty on "The Seafaring Trials" and "The Old Gods of the Sea" being too high for the recommended ship.
  • Fixed Chen's captain unlock event displaying Jonah as unlock in the journal.
  • Fixed certain merchants displaying only one blackpowder as reward.
  • Fixed inconsistencies and wrong contextual backgrounds in Ship Graveyard's story.
  • Fixed multiple visual issues across world islands and events.
  • Fixed the "House of Fortune" side quest staying in the journal even if the quest has already been completed.
  • Fixed the drifters visuals persisting after completing "Drowning Escapees" in Buccaneer's End.
  • Fixed switched up dialogue on embarking to "Spies of the Brethren of the Coast" and "Spies of the Daredevil's League".
  • Adjusted some inconsistencies and missing info across battle card tooltips.

Other


  • Fixed certain achievements "Take what you can" and "Give Nothing Back!" not tracking all coin gained.
  • Fixed achievement "Crowded Cliff" not unlocking correctly.
  • Fixed autosaves still being created after certain events even if the setting is turned off.
  • Fixed inconsistent camera behaviour when focusing on the ship.
  • Fixed audio and visual issues during the loading screen when starting the game for the first time.
  • Fixed audio switching between different tracks when an enemy ship is approaching.
  • Fixed the outrage SFX playing in all pirate camps when triggered in at least one camp.
  • Fixed missing audio feedback on pinning deeds.
  • Fixed production chain overview referring to deposits instead of fertile area for specific resources.
  • Fixed multiple visual issues relating to specific hardware and graphic settings.
