Phantoms Deep Playtest · published · build 24766262

The main goal has been to make sensitivity adjustments behave consistently instead of having individual control systems effectively decide their own movement speed. This should make it easier to find settings that feel comfortable whether you are moving around the submarine, aiming a weapon, or operating one of the ship's stations.
The inventory is now successfully being used for:
Equipping and dropping player items
Transferring items between inventories
Moving items into storage
Supplying crafting stations
The UI itself is still being adjusted, including selection indicators and icon presentation, but the underlying inventory workflow is now much closer to where it needs to be.
Drawing and sheathing have been moved closer to the animation system. Equipment can now appear or disappear at the appropriate point in the animation rather than immediately when the player presses the equip button.
During testing, we found that a player joining an existing game could fail to synchronize correctly if another player already had a weapon equipped. In some cases, the joining player would never finish spawning.
