Another update has arrived for LIVORA, with a big focus on making more parts of your Life genuinely playable rather than simply happening in the background.
This time, Work and Education have received major expansions, alongside improvements to characters, money, assets and several other areas of the game.
Your job is no longer just a status or source of income.
The new Work experience gives you a dedicated place to manage and experience your working life, with what you see changing depending on your current situation.
Your work life can now involve things such as:
Your current role and workplace situation
Work days and what is happening around you
Colleagues and workplace relationships
Ongoing workplace stories and situations
Career progression
Leave and time away from work
Decisions that can affect the rest of your Life
And because LIVORA is built around connected systems, what happens at work doesn't simply stay at work. Your energy, money, relationships and future opportunities can all become part of the picture.
Education is also becoming a much more meaningful part of a Life.
Rather than simply choosing a qualification and waiting for the result, studying can now become something you actively manage alongside everything else going on.
The expanded Education system includes:
Detailed course choices
Course suitability based on your current Life
Study time and weekly commitments
Modules and progress
Assignments and deadlines
Exams and assessments
Weekly study planning
Group work
Study locations
Employer-supported study
Course costs and available support
Qualifications, skills and potential career outcomes
Choosing to study is now a genuine life decision.
A course might look perfect for your career, but can you afford it? Can you fit it around work? What happens when an assignment deadline lands during an already difficult week?
Those are exactly the kinds of situations LIVORA is designed to create.
The character you create is also being integrated more closely into the game.
Rather than character creation feeling separate from the Life that follows, your identity now appears across more of the gameplay experience and is becoming a more visible part of the world you're building.
This is something we'll continue expanding.
We've also made several changes to how spending and financial decisions work.
Where appropriate, having £0 in your current balance no longer automatically means you can't pay for something. Available overdraft and credit options can now be taken into account, making financial decisions feel much closer to how they work in real life.
We've also improved:
Asset purchasing
Finance information
Benefits and support
Payment options
How different money systems work together
The aim is simple: fewer artificial blockers, more actual decisions.
There are plenty of smaller changes throughout the update too, including improvements to:
Work and Education interfaces
Course information and navigation
Character presentation
Relationships
Home and housing
Holidays and trips
The Day Planner
Money and finance
General UI clarity
Modal layouts and navigation
Gameplay reliability and polish
We've also continued reducing unnecessary scrolling and moving detailed information into clearer dedicated screens where it makes sense.
This update continues what we've been working towards since launch: making every Life feel more connected, more reactive and more personal.
There is still a lot we want to build.
Relationships, careers, homes, personal goals, characters and the long-term consequences of your decisions will all continue to become deeper as LIVORA develops.
As always, thank you for playing LIVORA and supporting the game.
If you've got ideas, found something that could be better, or simply want to tell us how your latest Life is going, please keep the feedback coming.
Your Life. Your decisions. Your story.
