LIVORA has just received a major update — expanding the world, the people in it, and the number of ways your Life can unfold.
This update isn’t built around one single feature. It adds more depth across the entire experience, with new places to become part of your story, much greater control over who you are, a deeper housing system, new characters and more than 1,000 new playable scenarios and moments.
The places you visit can now feel more like part of your Life rather than simply somewhere an activity happens.
Life Places adds greater depth to locations across the city, including the places you visit through Free Time and the Day Planner.
Your Life can build a history with the places around you, with visits, people and meaningful moments helping locations become part of your ongoing story.
Starting a new Life now gives you much more control over the person you want to play.
Alongside choosing your character, you can personalise more of your starting situation, including your:
• Background
• Location
• Employment situation
• Relationship situation
• Family circumstances
• Financial position
• Personality traits
You can still start from one of LIVORA’s existing Starting Lives, but you now have much more freedom to make it your own.
The world of LIVORA has more people in it too.
30 new characters have been added across different parts of everyday life — from friends and family connections to people you may meet through work, health, housing, hobbies, services and your wider community.
They become part of LIVORA’s existing character system rather than simply appearing as background names.
Where you live can now become a much bigger part of your Life.
The expanded housing system introduces a broader property journey covering renting, moving and home ownership, with different property types and circumstances along the way.
You may find yourself:
• Looking through available properties
• Attending viewings
• Applying to rent somewhere
• Dealing with deposits and affordability
• Applying for a mortgage
• Making offers on a home
• Going through the buying process
• Moving house
• Owning and eventually selling property
Housing is no longer just a number attached to your save — it can become another long-term part of your story.
This is also a huge content update.
More than 1,000 new playable scenarios, events and meaningful moments have been added across LIVORA.
They expand areas including:
• Everyday Life
• Relationships and dating
• Messages
• Group Chat
• Holidays and short breaks
• Weekends
• Big social events
• Seasonal and city moments
• Unfinished Business
• Life Places and Free Time
The aim is simple: more variety, fewer repeated situations and more Lives that develop differently from one another.
And these aren’t just another thousand variations of the same few decisions. The new content has been spread across different LIVORA systems, life stages and circumstances so that it can appear naturally when it actually makes sense for your Life.
LIVORA has continued to grow significantly since release, and this update is another major step towards the kind of life simulation we want it to become.
