This update covers only part of the fixes on my list. This week is dedicated to bugs only. If a bug you reported isn't listed below, it hasn't been forgotten — it's coming in the next update.
🌿 GRINDERS: ONE JOB EACH
• New — Right-click a grinder to assign it a plant: "grind everything", "tobacco only" or "weed only". A label appears above the machine.
• No more jammed workshop because both grinders were handling the same plant: dedicate one to each crop and your worker will respect the setting.
• The machine finally explains why it refuses something, instead of saying "grinder full!" when it's actually the wrong plant.
🚬 AUTO-ROLL 5000: NO MORE DEAD-LOCKED HOPPER
• Fixed — A hopper filled to the brim with a product unused in the current mode refused any refill, with no way out. The hopper now keeps room for each ingredient, and bringing tobacco automatically returns the excess weed to your pile — nothing is destroyed.
• New — Right-click the hopper with empty hands: "Empty the hopper". The contents come back out as a pile in front of the machine. Enough to unlock a machine that's been stuck for days.
• Fixed — Moving an Auto-Roll 5000 no longer empties it! Hopper, papers, empty packs, mode and attached box: everything follows the machine, even if you put the box down on the floor before choosing the spot.
• An oversized bag is no longer half-swallowed: the machine refuses it instead of destroying the excess.
🍃 NO MORE CROP SCATTERED ALL OVER THE SHOP
• Fixed — The workshop hand used to drop his pile wherever he stood as soon as a machine refused it. The pile now goes back into the grinder's output bin.
• Fixed — The grinder no longer throws its output across the room: it waits inside the machine and moves to the bin as soon as there's space.
• Fixed — Buds detached during a harvest no longer stay stuck in mid-air if the pot disappears along the way.
• Your grower now draws from a single box at a time instead of opening several: your soil stock stays readable at a glance.
🪴 POTS AND LAMPS: NO MORE SILENTLY FROZEN GROWTH
• New — A plant out of a lamp's range simply didn't grow, and nothing said so: many players thought their pots were broken or their settings weren't being saved. A red "NO LIGHT" label now appears above the affected pot, and disappears as soon as light returns.
• Good to know: a grow lamp's radius is short — it has to be practically right above the pot. If one of your pots has been stuck at the same stage for days, that's almost certainly why.
• Fixed — Two pots placed very close together could be mixed up on load, losing one of them's settings (assignment, soil, growth in progress). The better-stocked pot now always wins.
• Fixed — When restoring a piece of furniture failed on one detail, everything after it was lost without a single message: a pot could come back full of soil with no assignment. Each element is now restored independently.
👷 YOUR STAFF TIDIES UP
• New — The grower puts the surplus away. Once the pots are taken care of, he empties delivery boxes onto the basement shelves instead of letting them pile up in the drop-off area — and he puts the box back exactly where he took it if he hasn't finished it.
• New — He also carries empty boxes to the bin. He needs one reachable in the basement: without it, he tells you instead of hauling them around the floor.
• Fixed — Your cashier sometimes refused to serve joints even though the stock was there: he only ever looked at the counter box. If it's empty, he now takes from a collection box placed near the till, exactly like he already does from the shelves for cigarettes.
• Fixed — When the machine produced loose joints and cigarettes mixed together, the workshop hand aborted his run and abandoned a piece on the floor on every attempt. He now stores one product at a time, the other goes on the next trip.
• Fixed — With no collection box available, the worker kept hammering at an impossible task and stopped harvesting and refilling machines altogether.
📦 PARCEL POINT: THE BIG CLEAN-UP
• The clerk now carries several parcels at once: emptying a 9-parcel pallet used to take him 215 seconds, now it takes 61.
• Fixed — An interrupted delivery driver abandoned his full pallet in the street and nobody dealt with it afterwards. That was the source of the pallets piling up in front of your shop — the ones already in your save will clear on their own.
• The clerk now handles any loaded pallet around the parcel point, not just the one sitting on the drop-off zone.
• Deliveries adapt to available space: the truck no longer drops anything when everything is full, and two new messages warn you when things get stuck.
• Fixed — An empty pallet left on a parked pallet truck blocked the drop-off zone forever.
• Fixed — A delivery driver could stand around indefinitely without ever picking his pallet back up.
🔑 CONTROLS AND KEYBINDS
• Fixed — Custom keybinds didn't actually work in game: the on-screen prompt showed your new key, but the old one stayed active and some furniture became impossible to move. Rebinding now applies everywhere, from the main menu as well as the pause menu.
• The Enter key can be bound without reassigning itself.
🏗️ PLACEMENT AND FURNITURE
• Fixed — Shelves finally line up. The floor footprint declared by furniture didn't match its actual size: some took up twice too much room, others had their width and depth swapped, and the outline shown while placing didn't match the object. All 49 pieces of furniture in the game were reworked one by one.
• The result: two shelves placed side by side touch without leaving a gap or overlapping, and the floor outline shows exactly the space taken.
• A few pieces were off-centre relative to their anchor point (up to 40 cm). They've been re-centred: in an existing save, those may appear slightly shifted on the first load. They're now clean on the grid — just reposition them once if you don't like where they ended up.
• Fixed — Furniture could sink into walls. Those spots are now refused, and furniture already embedded in your saves is freed automatically on load.
• Fixed — Equipment deliveries (cigarette vending machine, flower pots, grow lamps…) go back to the basement instead of arriving upstairs.
🏦 BANK
• Fixed — An early loan repayment could take your money without reducing the debt. The money really was lost; that can't happen anymore.
💻 COMPUTER
• Fixed — The Customisation window no longer has a pointless scrollbar: everything fits on screen, Reset button included. The Bold / Italic / Uppercase options, which showed no labels at all, are repaired.
• Fixed — "Magazine displays" is no longer cut off in the Equipment tab.
• Shop shelves are finally translated and numbered (1 to 7) in all 7 languages.
🐛 STABILITY
• Fixed — A development tool had been left active in the game: a badly placed key froze the player and killed the camera (especially on Steam Deck). It has been removed from the build.
• Fixed — A dropped cigarette crate could vanish while triggering thousands of background errors.
• Fixed — Several spawn areas sent NPCs onto isolated islands, where they stood frozen on the spot.
☕ DETAILS
• The "Empty cups here" sign on the coffee machine has been redone: a small framed plate, readable and discreet, instead of the giant stretched text.
Got a bug to report? The Report a problem button in the pause menu sends everything needed (logs, save, screenshot) in one click — that's how most of the fixes above came to exist.
⚠️ If the update doesn't go through (the game still behaves as before), verify your files on Steam: right-click the game in your Library → Properties → Installed Files → Verify integrity of game files.
