Hotfix #5 is officially live and ready for download. This patch addresses a few very specific issues reported by the community over the last 24 hours, focusing on a frustrating house-purchasing lock, and multi-quest item snapping bugs.

📝 Hotfix #5 - Patch Notes

🖥️ UI & Tablet Improvements

• House Browser Fix: Resolved a critical issue where the "Buy House" button would incorrectly remain locked/disabled in the House Browser window even when a discount was active and funds were sufficient.

• Perks View Visuals: Streamlined the tablet's Perks View by removing the problematic background graphic and replacing it with a solid blue background for a cleaner, more readable look.

• Laptop Descriptions: Polished the refreshing logic for house descriptions on the laptop to completely prevent text from overlapping.

• Clean Exit: Fixed a rare bug where the job map popup window would briefly flash on the screen right as you were exiting the game.

🎯 Gameplay & Mechanics

• Multi-Quest Grid Snapping: Fixed a bug where the newly introduced quest item grid snapping mechanic would fail to snap objects correctly if a single job contained multiple identical placement quests.

🎨 Visuals & Environment

• Before/After Photo Culling: Fixed a rare issue where objects would randomly cull out during Before/After sequences. The system now dynamically forces culling to turn off before each individual snapshot, rather than just once at the beginning of the photo series.

• Terrace House Water: Fixed and updated the rendering properties of the water material on the Terrace House environment.

🏡 Jobs & Properties

• Forgotten Heritage: Corrected the positioning for both balcony doors in the upstairs bedroom. Additionally, resolved an issue with locked downstairs doors and ensured they properly trigger their opening sequence during the intro cutscene.

• Love in a Cup: Fixed the incorrect default position of the very first Before/After camera setup.

📐 Tools & Mechanics

• Grid Placement Tool: Fixed an issue where an item's rotation could occasionally reset to default under specific conditions while using the grid layout system.

🖥️ UI & Interface Fixes

• Changelog Navigation: Resolved a multi-platform control bug that prevented players from closing the changelog window using a controller or assigned button on both Steam Deck and PC.

• Tablet Polish: Fixed a visual issue where object selection highlights would awkwardly show through or remain visible on the screen while navigating the tablet menu.

🛋️ Items & Furniture

• Habim Containers: Resolved visual issues affecting Habim container models.

• Elle Armchair: Fixed an issue with selecting or displaying specific material and color variants for the Elle armchair.
