You asked, and we delivered! Many of you reached out asking for more animal paintings in the game, mentioning that our current selection felt a bit too limited for true pet lovers. We took that feedback to heart and decided to solve it in the most fun way possible: we hosted an internal studio photo competition for the best pictures of our own dogs and cats!
Our dev team submitted their absolute favorite pet photos, we voted on the top picks, and the winning furry faces have been officially added to the game! You can now browse your tablet catalog to find brand-new portraits of our studio’s real-life pets ready to decorate your renovated spaces.

We want you to be able to tweak the lighting to perfectly match your aesthetic, so we’ve added two new options to the settings:
Light Range – controls the reach of the light source.
Shadow Start Distance – determines where the shadow actually begins.
Plus, for your convenience, we’ve added a Discard Changes button, allowing you to quickly revert to your previous settings.

We are also continuing to expand our Accessibility Settings! Based directly on community requests, we’ve added toggle controls so you no longer have to hold down buttons when digging holes or cutting down trees with axes and chainsaws, as well as an option to disable road traffic
You can also now operate squeegees during window cleaning using WASD keys on your keyboard for a much smoother experience!

New lighting settings options: Option to configure light range and the distance where the shadow begins.
Studio Pet Artwork: Added brand-new paintings featuring the winners of our internal studio pet photo contest to the tablet catalog.
Comer Wood Panels: Expanded wall customization with new Comer wood paneling options.
Heart DLC Tables: Configured tablecloth customization options across Heart DLC tables (excluding two specific models due to mesh limitations).
Topiary & Color Corrections: Adjusted color balance for topiary plants and fixed mint material light emissions.
Floor & Desk Lamps: Fine-tuned standing emission intensity across floor and table lamps for a more balanced glow.
Hold to Dig Toggle: Added an option in Accessibility Settings to disable "hold to dig" for shovels.
Hold to Cut Tree Toggle: Added an option to disable "hold to cut" for axes and chainsaws.
Vacuum Cleaning Toggle: Extended the "hold to clean" toggle setting to cover the cockroach vacuum cleaner.
WASD Window Cleaning: You can now move and operate the window cleaning squeegee using WASD keys on your keyboard.
Road Traffic Toggle: Added an option in Accessibility Settings to disable road traffic.
Control Prompts: Added missing translations for "press to" prompts across supported languages.
Custom Radio Music Returns: Fixed the audio loading logic so you can once again load your own audio files into in-game radios to soundtrack your renovation sessions!
Office Loading Screen QoL: Added a feedback notification when saving a new custom loading screen. If a custom image ever fails to load, the game now automatically falls back to the default office picture instead of breaking.
Achievement Check: Added an automatic retro-check for the "5 Flipper stars" achievement when cooking in the universal cooker.
Item Card Indicators: Fixed special-purpose icons on item cards (identifying Smart, Editable, Writing, Tableware, etc.).
GarageBox Quodo: Fixed a bug preventing variant switching between filled and empty box configurations.

Architect Tool Tiling Fix: Fixed a bug where placing tiles in custom architect-built houses deleted floor sections or created weird wall-wrinkling visual glitches.
Fish House Property: Fixed a visual glitch that incorrectly triggered the underwater camera effect while standing inside the house.
Job Crash Fix: Resolved an unexpected hardware crash on the Terrace House job map.
