Decks can be shared now. There are also balance changes to the coin toss and to two cards, and a handful of fixes to things that were getting in the way during a match.
Share your decks
Every deck in your vault has a SHARE button. It gives you a code you can copy and send to anyone: Discord, a forum post, a message to a friend. IMPORT at the top of the vault takes a code someone sent you and builds their deck in a new slot of your own. Nothing you already have is touched, and the game shows you the deck's name and size before you commit to it.
Balance
- Going second now hands out Temporary Shield based on what each champion is. Support and Strategist champions start with 3, Attackers with 2, and Defenders with none. Losing the coin toss used to be worth a flat 2 on everybody, which mattered least to the champions who needed it most.
- The Oriflamme over Orleans now strips 2 Shield from every enemy champion instead of weakening their damage.
- Thunderous Roar now weakens enemy damage by 1 instead of 2.
Match fixes
- Losing a champion on the opponent's turn no longer costs you the extra action it is supposed to give you. It is only held back for the rest of a turn you were playing when the champion fell.
- Drawing cards no longer stacks minutes onto a single turn. A time bonus tops your clock back up to a full turn rather than pushing it past one.
- When both players cross a losing line on the same tick, whoever still has more champions standing takes the win. It is only a draw when the two sides are level.
- Cards you are asked to discard or keep are now picked by clicking them in your hand, where you are already reading them, instead of choosing names off a list.
- A card lifted under your pointer no longer stays lifted after it is played, drawn past or redrawn. The Card Detail panel lets go with it.
- The mulligan countdown no longer blanks out.
- An opponent's champion that has already acted is now greyed on their side too, and gets its colour back when an Extra Action frees it.
Wording
- Empower, Stun and the damage-weakening effects now say how long they last instead of saying "this turn", which was wrong depending on who was reading it.
- Bleed, Regen and Empower read correctly in Italian, French and Russian when they are carrying a single point.
Elsewhere
- There is a link to the official Discord under the featured panel on the main menu.
- You can open a card's full art during the tutorial, and Escape puts it away instead of skipping ahead.
- First-time setup can no longer be stepped around through the top bar.
