Brimir Update (v1476)

🪦 The Pilgrimage Monument Now Opens at the Place You Fall

Everything bought with tokens is for the life that comes next — awakenings, marks, inheritance alike. Yet the Monument stood only in town, so at the very moment it mattered most — fallen, deciding what to leave behind — it was out of reach.

Now the Pilgrimage Monument opens both on the death screen and on the screen where a new pilgrimage begins.

And one long-empty slot opens with it: the hero's rune inheritance can be raised as well. Until now only companions could be raised, and the hero alone was pinned at one — for no reason anyone could name. The price is the same as a companion's.

🎒 Provisions First, Then What You Leave Behind

When beginning a new pilgrimage, inheritance came first and provisions came after.

But the provision premium 「+1 Companion Rune Inheritance」 is precisely the thing that widens the choices available in inheritance. Choose it after inheritance is already settled, and there is no longer any room to spend it. You picked it, and nothing happened.

The order is reversed. It is now provisions → inheritance. And if inheritance is already settled, that item is no longer offered at all.
(The death screen holds both at once, so it never had this problem.)

💀 On "Floor 8 Is Just a Pile of Health"

Two remarks arrived in the same season. One: "the inside of the Heart is just a pile of health." The other: "Grudge Colossus, Reaper Lord and Avatar of Dread are the hardest."

Four more formidable grade-3 monsters now appear inside the Heart. It is meaningfully harsher than before.

⚖️ The Runes, Weighed Again

  • Runes from the grade 5–7 monsters of Floor 5 that carried hybrid stat spreads have been reworked.

Each rune's stat total is unchanged. Nothing grew stronger or weaker — what each rune is has simply become clearer.

🔧 Fixed

  • Records vanishing from the leaderboard — a pilgrim who rises again through 「Keep Marks」 legitimately carries full marks in a short life. The ranking check did not know about that exception and filtered them out wholesale, so long-surviving top records were quietly missing from the rolls. They are back.
  • Boss pressure collapsing on a single parry — a driving combo was cancelled outright by one parry. Parry it now, and the pressure keeps coming.
  • The heavy-attack telegraph bar thickening, and shared monster/rune skills whose effects had drifted apart, are cleaned up as well.

The leaderboard fix above exists because a pilgrim told us the rankings looked wrong. One screenshot saves days. Thank you.

The pilgrimage to the Heart continues.
