Hello everyone, I mentioned a while ago that I would be releasing the second update, and that day has finally arrived. Although I'm still at the beginning, I think I've made good progress in 3 months. The game mechanics are completely finished, meaning all systems are working now. My next focus will be on polishing and designing new levels.

Meanwhile, and most importantly, I'm now working with composer and illustrator, and I think they'll do a great job. I have some new things, but I don't feel ready to show them yet.

  • Now, when entering Chaos mode, there's a burst of white light, a red smoke effect appears in the background, and all objects on the screen turn black (including useful objects). Previously, there was only a red filter in the background, and it was barely noticeable, and there was also a rain of red particles. I thought that entering Chaos mode should make it feel like it's actually changing things, so I made this change.

  • There's now a star and diamond system; it's possible to collect 3 stars in a level. You can earn the first star by completing the level in less time than the allotted time, the second star by dying fewer times than the allotted number of deaths, and the third star by collecting the diamonds in the level. The star and diamond system isn't crucial in the prologue version, but in the main game, it will serve as both a challenge and a way to unlock new game modes.

  • Several bugs have been fixed, but I'm sure there are still some out there, and I'm waiting for you to discover them :D

  • 3 new background music tracks have been added, and more will be added.

  • The collision area of most traps has been slightly reduced

I haven't finished the achievements and ranking lists yet; I'll take care of those and release a new update, but I won't make a separate announcement about it. I hope you like the new update.

Game update4 Sep 2026Achievements Working and Some Bug FixedHi everyone, i've finally got achievements and leaderboards working again! I promised this in the previous update, but it took a while to deliver. I also wanted to fix some bugs i found and, because i felt the traps in chaos mode were a bit too brutal, i decided to do some balancing. They're more lenient now, but you shouldn't underestimate Chaos mode! :D The errors fixed are as follows: · The…Community5 Aug 2026Second Update Coming SoonHello everyone, the development process for Save the Red Box is progressing steadily. I know updates and announcements take a little longer, but i have a paid job and can dedicate my free time to this game. I conduct various gameplay tests and i work not only on making the game fun, but also on making it feel good, so if there's a big change in the game, the player should really feel it. To get…In-game event21 Jul 2026First Major Update ReleasedHello everyone, yesterday i announced that i would be updating the prologue version, and i'm now adapting the things i've been working on to the prologue version and releasing it for you. Since the prologue version only has one episode, i made the first episode more condensed than the normal version, so it's consequently more difficult, in fact, i'd say it's quite a difficult episode Visual Upd…
