Brimir Update (v1116)

🎨 The Corpse-World — this time we painted the labyrinth

Last time we repainted the town. But the place a pilgrim actually spends their hours is the labyrinth. This build repaints the floors by hand.

  • Every floor has its own ground now. Terrain, trees, water and cliffs were split into art made for each floor
  • Canyon of Rifts (floor 5) — the canyons were cut apart into cliffs, which turns the hub into a real crossroads. Each of the four canyons carries its own rock and its own props
  • Jade Sea (floor 6) — new ocean surface and shoreline, and the islands have layers now.
  • Whispering Wood and jungle (floors 3, 21, 22, 24) — ground, trees and water replaced across all four forest floors, and their overlapping identities pulled apart
  • Battle backgrounds were redrawn

⚔️ Incarnations — beyond the Relics

A tier now sits above the peak runes. An Incarnation is not simply a stronger rune: it is a ladder, where each one only reveals the next once you have brought it down.

  • You climb it. Felling the previous Incarnation three times unlocks the next
  • You call them at the altar. Incarnations are summoned through offering — the price is Bloodstone
  • Three altars (Offering Stone, Dreamwood, Ogre) were repainted

💠 Relic Caskets — for dust that only ever piled up

Relic Dust accumulated with nowhere useful to go. The Blacksmith takes it now.

  • A fifth tab at the Blacksmith. Ten handfuls of dust for one Relic
  • The Codex shows what's inside a Relic. Stat bonuses and catalogue numbers are revealed

🏛️ The Temple — Heartbeat

Party attack buffs could be swallowed whole by a character's own self-buff and end up doing nothing at all. This blessing, earned through prayer at the Temple, does not get swallowed.

⚖️ Elements burn properly now

  • Elemental damage credits whoever actually applied it. Stacks laid down by a companion were being calculated with the protagonist's power
  • Frenzies charge you once. Overlapping two self-buffs gave you only one of the gains but charged you the price twice.

🔧 Bug fixes

  • The smoking tab was an empty screen — the material list differed between facilities
  • The Ogre altar claimed to summon a "Forest Giant" — what you call and what arrives are both an Ogre
  • Companions you hadn't recruited weren't faded in the Hideout

🎁 Gift codes

We opened a code to mark the repainted road. Here are the older ones too — some were opened and never announced.

  • THANKYOU2026 — one Return Stone (for the map renewal)
  • WELCOME2026 — one Return Stone
  • BRIMIR2026 — one Return Stone

Enter them with while exploring → Redeem Code, or from the title screen.
Each code can be claimed once per account. A fallen pilgrim does not bring the code back, so claim it when you actually have a use for it.

The pilgrimage to the Heart continues.
