Update 0.1.4 focuses on more visual variety between civilizations, improvements to combat and physics, AI changes and several important fixes.
Civilizations can now use different architecture styles instead of being tied to one fixed visual appearance.
Four architecture packs are currently included: Nordic, Western, Far East and Oriental.
Each architecture uses the same general building set while giving buildings its own regional appearance.
Custom civilization packs can now be created around an architecture style and include all available resolution levels in a single pack.
Older civilization texture packs are no longer compatible with the new system and will need to be recreated.
The civilization pack editor has been removed from the demo. The block and world pack editor remains available.
Explosions can now physically launch nearby units into the air.
Units falling from greater heights can now take fall damage.
Fixed an issue where multiple selected units could sometimes stop responding to movement, attack and other commands after an existing order was replaced.
Units should now continue responding normally without needing to be selected again.
Added and corrected several missing translations across the interface and HUD, including resources, resource nodes, civilizations, leaders and technology requirements.
Easier CPU difficulty levels can now research technologies and establish a second colony instead of remaining limited to the Stone Age.
Unit production has also been adjusted so easier AI opponents can stay more active during the early stages of a match without becoming unnecessarily strong.
Voxel Dynasties is still in an early stage of development, so feedback and bug reports are greatly appreciated.
