This patch focuses on levels and progression, a new Heroic World Tier, Corruption affixes, and a batch of control and UI improvements.
Localization
Italian is now available as a fully supported language.
Controls
When a controller is connected, the character no longer turns with the analog stick by default. It now strafes instead.
If you have A/D turning enabled, holding both mouse buttons to move your character will now make the A/D keys strafe.
Levels and progression
Changed how levels work. Previously NPCs had no level display and all scaled to the player. NPC levels in the world are now shown, and scaling has been reworked. Each NPC can now spawn within 3 levels above or below the player, so there is still scaling, but you can feel the difference in levels.
Dungeon bosses and NPCs now have fixed levels and no longer scale, giving you a clearer view of what level you need to run each dungeon and a real sense of progression.
All gear now has level requirements, giving you a better sense of progression in the world.
Corruption and World Tier
Corruption tokens that drop after completing a Corruption dungeon now come with random affixes. These affixes change how the dungeon functions and give each run a unique feel.
A new Heroic World Tier can be activated from Heroic World Tier consoles out in the world. When active, it massively increases damage and health across the world, and NPCs can now spawn with affixes that change how they behave.
Killing world NPCs while Heroic World Tier is active gives a large increase in experience, and they also drop special points that can be spent in a new talent tree to empower your character.
World Modifiers
The World Modifiers panel now has an option at character creation to lock your settings in, so you will not be able to change them later. All existing characters can still change the World Modifiers from the continue panel.
Talent trees
The talent trees for Necromancer and Shieldmaster auto attacks have been fleshed out.
UI
Added a visual indicator for your target's buffs and debuffs. Hover over them with your mouse to get a better overview of what they do.
There is now a confirmation window when you try to delete your character, with yes or cancel options to avoid accidental deletions.
New dungeon info panels now appear when you stand at dungeon entrances.
Fixed some UI panels not closing when pressing Escape.
Fixes and notes
Fixed a bug where you would not dismount when dying. You now dismount on death.
Some affix visuals are still placeholder for now.
Many more minor bug fixes.
