Fewer Bugs — More Ideas

Construction Company · published

Hi everyone!

Today is another day of bug fixing.

Thank you for all your bug reports and suggestions for improving the gameplay!

At this point, the list of issues I found myself or that you reported is almost empty. A lot of work was done today, although most of it consisted of smaller fixes.

You can find all the changes in the news posts titled Hotfix titles.

But little by little, I also want to move on to larger tasks.

One of them is merging the scenes, so that the garage can open almost instantly, just like the regular in-game panels do now.

At the moment, I barely even have time to sit down and properly look at the best way to implement it, because fixes are still taking up most of my time. But I’m confident that in the near future, you’ll see this item marked as completed in one of the Hotfix updates.

Also planned is a notification history panel. At first, it will store notifications only.

But I read your messages, and I fully understand that many of you — if not all — would also like to be able to open a separate history and review your completed contracts.

I hear you. This will definitely be added to the game as well.

Another major idea for the near future is improving the Administration panel.

I want to add an extra tab, or possibly even create a completely separate panel. In my head, it currently looks something like a board with employee photos, with their stats, level, upgrades, and other information displayed next to them.

In this system, you’ll be able to assign office employees to specific positions — one employee per role — upgrade them, and immediately see exactly what benefits they provide to your company.

And perhaps this is also where I’ll gradually start implementing some of the automation features many of you have already asked for:

  • automatic resource ordering;

  • contract management;

  • vehicle monitoring and maintenance;

  • and other functions.

There are really a lot of ideas right now.

The project will continue to grow, and all I can ask of you is a little patience.

And I also want to say something directly to those who are reading this announcement but are still unsure about buying the game — especially after seeing the mixed reviews.

Wait before buying it.

Follow the updates, add the game to your wishlist, and keep an eye on development. You can even ask me every day in the Discussions how things are going — I’ll do my best to answer.

And don’t worry about the current discount — it definitely won’t be the last one.

I would much rather you buy the game when you feel confident about your decision than buy it now and end up disappointed.

If you enjoy reading these larger development updates and plans, just leave a thumbs-up on this post. That way I’ll know it’s worth continuing to share not only finished Hotfixes, but also what’s happening behind the scenes and where the game is heading.

And now I’ll say it again:

Thank you! You’re the best! ❤️

I fix. I read. I work! 🦝🔧
