Planet Killer Patch v1.0.8

Planet Killer · published 12 Sep 2026, 01:47 UTC · build 25265627

All eventsPlayers around this dateRead on Steam

Greetings again Planet Killers, thanks again for all the feedback and bug reports, I spent all day long doing a major intensive deep dive on performance as I learned my last fix just wasn't effective enough. I've finally gotten it to a point where I'm very comfortable with the late game performance for those of you skilled and strategic enough to persevere against the ever scaling planets and collect 50+ weapon slots. I've also made a few changes and expanded the ship circuit system.

v1.0.8 Planet Killer Patch notes

New Features and changes:

  • Ship Circuit System expanded - You can now equip multiple ship circuits with more planet killer rank levels.

Game Balance:

  • You can retire a run at depth 40 instead of depth 50. (This should help with the planet core grind)

  • Vulcan Rotary cannon rebalanced with more damage, higher cooldown and 35 -> 30 projectiles.

Bug Fixes:

  • Another major sweep of performance optimization for hyper late-game builds.

  • Individual ship records now properly increment planets destroyed.

  • Rank 100 Achievement should work properly now and unlock on start if you're past 100.

  • Wingmen begin flying and avoiding faster at the beginning of battles now.

  • Fixed a static pooling bug with projectiles.

  • Made transition from battle to star map more robust to guard against possible crashes.
