Hi everyone, 😄
Thank you very much for all the feedback, reports, and suggestions you have continued to share with us.
This update focuses on making factory rebuilding and machine management easier. Players can now sell machines directly from the Machine Management panel, including selling individual machines or selling multiple machines at once based on the current filtered list.
We have also improved machine sell value calculation, added more options for handling remaining stock when repacking or selling machines, and included several improvements and fixes related to machine boxes, placement previews, focused machine screens, and notifications.
With that in mind, here is what is included in this update.
The Machine Management panel now includes a new Sell Mode.
When Sell Mode is enabled, machine cards will switch into selling mode. Controls such as power, upgrade, speed, and rename will be hidden, and each machine card will show a Sell button instead.
The settings button will remain available, so players can still check how a machine is configured before deciding to sell it.
There are two ways to sell machines from Machine Management:
Sell — sell one machine from its machine card.
Sell All Machines — sell all machines that are currently visible in the list.
Sell All Machines follows the currently active filters, including machine category tabs, search keywords, machine level filters, and factory area filters.
Please be careful when using this in the All tab without any active filter, because the visible list may include machines across the whole factory.
Before selling, a confirmation window will show the machine name and estimated sell value. For Sell All Machines, the confirmation list will group machines by type, so multiple machines of the same type are easier to review.
Sell Mode will automatically turn off again when the panel is closed and reopened. This helps prevent entering Machine Management later while still being in a selling state.
Machines that are currently being used by employees cannot be sold, and the game will show a message explaining why they were skipped.
After a bulk sell action finishes, a summary notification will show how many machines were sold and how many were skipped.
Machine sell value has been improved.
Previously, selling a machine could feel less rewarding if the machine had already received upgrades.
Now, the sell value includes the machine’s base value and the speed upgrade costs that have already been paid for that machine. This only applies when repacking machine that are placed in the world.
Existing save files will also follow this new rule, because machine upgrade levels are already saved.
Please note that the value shown in the confirmation window is an estimate. Since machines and items can still change while the confirmation window is open, the final value may be slightly different.
The amount shown in the notification after the machine is sold is the final value from the completed transaction.
Stock handling options have been improved when repacking or selling machines that still contain remaining stock.
Players can now choose how the remaining stock should be handled:
Drop stock as physical Boxes
Sell stock directly
Cancel
Dropping stock as physical Boxes will return the remaining stock into the world as Boxes.
Selling stock directly will convert the remaining stock into money instead.
This option can appear when repacking machines and when selling machines from Machine Management.
This should give players more control when reorganizing production lines, especially when rebuilding parts of the factory that still contain labels, packaging, ingredients, or products inside machines.
As an additional note, the player’s money balance will update correctly after selling. However, machine selling is handled separately from normal product sales, so related income information may not always appear in the Daily Report in the same way as regular sales.
Machine Boxes placed in the world now show their machine level.
The level is displayed using this format:
(Lv. 6)
This information can appear on the machine Box label and related close-view information, making it easier to identify machine Boxes before placing, repacking, or selling them.
This is especially helpful when handling upgraded machines, since higher-level machines can now be distinguished more clearly from lower-level machines.
Machine screens can now refresh their displayed information while the player is focusing on them.
This helps machine screen information update more responsively while the player is viewing or interacting with the screen.
Fixed an issue where placement previews could stay near an old cursor position when using a gamepad.
Machine placement previews should now follow the center aim point more reliably when using a gamepad.
This also applies to previews while carrying a Box.
Mouse controls should feel mostly unchanged, since the cursor is already centered during this type of interaction.
Fixed an issue where repeated notifications could interfere with notification animation handling.
Money, EXP, and reputation notifications should now replace each other more cleanly in their own areas.
This should also help prevent ongoing actions from being interrupted by notification animation issues.
Thank you again for your continued support, reports, and feedback.
We will continue reviewing your suggestions and reports while improving factory management, rebuilding tools, and overall gameplay comfort in future updates.
If you encounter any issues or unexpected behavior, please report them through the in-game Bug Report Menu and/or the Steam Discussions so we can investigate further.
See you in the next update! 🥗🚚
