Night Portable Demo · published

Thank you for supporting Night Portable.
The Steam Playtest for the Windows version currently in development is now accepting players.
We would especially appreciate feedback on how clearly the game communicates what to do next, controls and UI usability, difficulty, horror presentation, and any bugs or progress-blocking issues you encounter.
From the publication of this announcement until around 6:20 PM JST on Saturday, September 5, 2026
The Playtest is scheduled to close when the public demo goes live.
Visit the Playtest section on the Steam store page and select “Request Access.” Once access is granted, the Playtest will be added to your Steam library.
Please note that the Playtest is a work-in-progress build. Its content may differ from both the public demo and the final game, and it may contain bugs or unfinished elements.
The free demo is scheduled to launch at around 6:20 PM JST on Saturday, September 5, 2026, timed with the end of the Indie Life Streamers: TRIP THREE (ILS3) YouTube broadcast.
The ILS3 YouTube broadcast is currently scheduled for 11:30 AM–6:20 PM JST. The exact demo launch time may shift depending on the live broadcast.
The demo will let you experience Night Portable's night-shift survival horror, where retro games and 3D exploration collide.
Please refrain from publicly sharing content from the Playtest in any form until the demo scheduled for September 5, 2026 has actually gone live. This includes livestreams, recorded commentary, gameplay videos, screenshots, and other images or footage that reveal the Playtest version's gameplay or content.
Written impressions that do not include gameplay footage or screenshots may be shared before the demo launches. Once the demo is live, you may also share streams, commentary videos, gameplay videos, and screenshots.
