ShipShaper: Falconeer Chronicles · published
Hi everyone, It's been a while since an update was promoted from beta to release, so it's about time.
This major update to ShipShaper tackles a number of things, and there is some updates for features that won't be in the demo , but are exciting regardless.
This is a UX improvement that adds a way to scroll through all the item options available and swap them out, and it comes with filters you can set, so if you just wanna scroll windows for instance.
These seem like simple shapes at first, but they are very functional at creating platforms, overhangs and covered walkways.
As seen here, also notice there's a new thin railing that works great for this. But folks have been using rails to create extreme shapes for a while, this is my attempt on supporting their efforts with some bespoke rail tools.
here's a video about this update!.
One of the reasons Its been a little bit more quiet for shipshaper, is that I've also been preparing Bulwark for integration with ShipShaper. Bulwark will load shipshaper ships for use in the game. But I also want to make it so you can sail around from the start with your shipshaper vessels. Hence I've been busy at two fronts.
Here's a little update on that front.
And there is another reveal possible, bulwark will have every ship sailable, so once you export its only a few click to sail it around!
