TRAINING PROTOCOL ACTIVE

The most dangerous part of an expedition is not knowing what to do after the first alarm. Update v1.3 completely rebuilds NECHTO’s opening minutes: the game now guides a new group from connecting their phones to their first full match.

Two stages of interactive training

The tutorial is no longer just a reference page. It is a guided demonstration layered directly over the real interface.

  • The Lobby stage covers interface scale and master volume, QR scanning, connecting several phones, and inviting remote groups with a short code.

  • The Game stage explains secret roles, turn phases, drawing and playing cards, choosing a target, defense, mandatory exchanges, and the hidden spread of infection.

  • Dedicated scenes break down barricaded doors, quarantine, dead players, direction of play, and victory conditions.

Tutorial players and cards exist only inside the demonstration: they take no seats in the real lobby and never affect an active match.

The lobby is now part of the atmosphere

On first launch, the terminal powers up like an old monitor: the logo and system lines appear, the QR frame unfolds, and a scanning beam crosses the code. The card archive and crew terminal are now complete panels, while local and online groups are clearly separated into LAN and NET sections.Sometimes something crosses the screen that is definitely not listed on the crew manifest.

More control, sound, and motion

Interface scale and master volume can now be adjusted in the lobby and during a match, and both settings are saved. New procedural effects accompany barricaded doors, quarantine, card exchanges, joining players, arriving phones, and archive scans. The ship schematic occasionally answers with a brief ripple or tremor.

Free demo

Friends can now try NECHTO for free. The demo supports a full table of up to 12 players, local and online groups, and all core rules; only each match is limited to 25 minutes. The demo is available on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

In every supported language

The rebuilt lobby and both tutorial stages are fully localized into all 17 languages supported by the game.

Gather the crew. Run the briefing. Then find out who was listening a little too carefully.
