What Did I Do This Month?
This month, I mainly focused on the game's user interface (UI). I redesigned many screens, from the gameplay screen to the policy selection. My goal was to make the interface more suitable for the game's atmosphere.

Event Screen Has Changed
I changed the event screen, which is the screen you spend the most time on. In the old version, the stat bars were vertical on the left side of the screen, the character portrait was small, and the options were in a separate panel.

In the new design, each event opens as a single panel in the center of the screen. The character's portrait and trust status are on the left, while the event details and choices are together on the right.

Screenshots of the game from the new version:

The vertical stat bars on the left side of the screen have been removed and replaced with a compact horizontal bar at the top of the screen. The screen feels much cleaner now.

Character Trust System Added
I added a character trust system as a new mechanic. Now, the decisions you make affect not only the shelter's resources but also the trust your advisors have in you. There is a trust bar under the characters' portraits, and you can see how this value changes as a result of your decisions.

Policy Screen Added and Revamped
The policy selection screen that appears every weekend has also been redesigned.

Labor assignment screen added and revamped.

Weekly Summary Screen Revamped
The summary screen that appears at the end of the week has also changed. The week's events and statistics are now presented in a more readable way.

Reactor Power Adjustment
In last month's post, I said "I might revamp or remove the Reactor Power Adjustment mechanic." For now, I have removed the mechanic from the game, but I'm still not entirely sure. Since I think it could be important for the game's structure, I will evaluate the possibility of revising and re-adding it while working on new mechanics this month.

What Happened to Last Month's Goals?
I set 4 goals last month:

✅ Visual Feedback → Stat change indicators (▲ Morale +10%, ▼ Food -500) and tooltips were added.
✅ Weekly Summary Screen → Redesigned.
⏳ Reactor Power Adjustment Decision → Temporarily removed, revision possibility is being evaluated.
✅ Polish Phase → User interface revamped.

What I Plan to Work on Next
🔮 I'm brainstorming new mechanics to make the gameplay more fun.
🔮 I'm considering adding a new character to the game.
🔮 I will analyze the impact of decisions on resource balance and try to adjust the game difficulty.
🔮 I will continue to polish and improve the interface.
🔮 I want to work on in-game sound effects.
🔮 Bug fixing.

🌐 Language Support
All the new interface and mechanics are ready in both Turkish and English. In the final stage, I plan to add new languages based on Wishlist density. Since I'm running this process all by myself, adding the game to your wishlist and supporting it is very valuable to me!

After focusing heavily on the UI last month, my main focus this month was adding new mechanics to the game and establishing systems that provide necessary information to the player. I wanted to make players feel that the shelter isn't just about numbers, but that the people living inside also have a voice and reaction.
