This section lists the fixes included in this patch. These are the immediate high-priority issues we have prioritised based on your reports so far. Below this section, you can find a list of future issues and feedback we are prioritising next.
Bludgeoning damage will no longer kill an enemy outright, and is only able to incapacitate during combat. Unless you hit an already incapacitated enemy, of course. Utilise this to complete optional objectives that involve knocking enemies out instead of killing them.
Various fixes to the Ikigai side quest:
Fixed so that the two quest targets can't be farmed for loot (sorry not sorry).
Dead characters should no longer respawn when you re-enter the level.
Note that the dead bodies of the quest characters will respawn at their spawn points if you re-enter the level.
Added some more variety to the enemy types in the level to improve the combat experience.
Updated Morale across the board so that enemies don't get Panicked or Disobedient so quickly. Now they should only lose Morale when an ally dies in their vicinity.
Fixed an issue where you could get stuck in combat after loading a save file.
Fixed Notifications not showing in World Map outside of World Map dialogue.
Fixed World Map events not always triggering.
Fixed Piet and Etienne sometimes incorrectly following you in Incensed Against Us, causing the fight to bug out in... interesting ways.
Removed a blocker in a conversation with Alessandro that would happen after choosing the "[Say nothing.]" option in Etienne's quest.
Removed Tora-hime's clairvoyance; she will now only approve or disapprove of actions once she has been recruited.
Fixed that the tutorial for how to use tactical items was displaying incorrect binding when explaining how to select a target.
Fixed an infinite loading screen that could be encountered after getting a Game Over from getting killed by Cabral in Perils on the Sea.
Fixed a co-op issue in Perils on the Sea where one player could go to another floor of De Albatross, while the other was in dialogue, causing a blocker.
We have disabled looting corpses during combat for now, to solve issues and frustrations it was causing.
This is a temporary measure, as a full fix requires a bit more time. The ability to loot during combat shall return once we have fixed it fully.
Attempted fix for your hair sometimes living its own life, detaching from the head or being rotated incorrectly.
This in an odd one and we believe we've been able to fix it, but as it is difficult to reproduce, we can't say 100%. So please do report if you run into this issue again!
Fixed a crash that could happen when an enemy would start investigating a disturbance.
Fixed rare crash that could happen when showing nearby interactions.
Fixed rendering crash that could happen when loading into a level.
Other misc crash fixes.
Based on your feedback, we are prioritising improvements in certain specific areas:
We will rejig some encounters to allow up to 6 selected characters in levels where it makes sense.
Trading screen will be updated to show the value of each side of the trade.
We are looking into addressing multiple balance concerns (overall game difficulty, stealth mechanics, resource balance, etc.)
Stealth is receiving major tweaks to improve usability and fix certain exploits, particularly surrounding ranged takedowns.
Player feedback for the worldmap travel will be improved.
Several VFX are being revamped.
Controls and UI will continue to receive polish and improvement guided by your feedback.
And of course much, much more!
We always appreciate your feedback, so please keep reporting any issues you find and let us know your thoughts and requests for the future!
