UPDATE 0.32.4 — THE CONSTELLATION GLOWS

The upgrade tree got a full visual overhaul, your black hole finally shows its stats, and the game runs dramatically better on machines that were struggling. Full notes below.UPGRADE CONSTELLATION OVERHAULEverything you own now glows. Purchased upgrades are lit, and the paths between them — all the way from the singularity at the center — shine along your build. Your progress reads at a glance.Affordable upgrades invite you: a soft halo, a brighter ring, and a highlighted price tag mark everything you can buy right now. Upgrades you can't afford yet slowly fill a savings bar as your Radiation grows. The frontier is visible. Connections fade from lit to dim exactly where your owned path ends — push the light outward.Locked upgrades are quests, not walls. Multi-step requirements show live progress, and the panel names exactly what deed unlocks them.Buying feels like something now. A pulse of light travels from the singularity along your path to the new upgrade, a gold burst marks the purchase, and the price visibly leaves your Radiation counter.Zoom out to see your empire. At far zoom the tree becomes an ownership map — owned branches glow with your progress, and everything affordable stays marked.BLACK HOLE STATS — FINALLY VISIBLEA new YOUR SINGULARITY panel in the constellation shows your starting mass, tidal shear, power, top speed, intake limit, starting stability and stability cap.CAN CRACK UP TO tells you the biggest thing your power can currently break open, and NEXT TARGET shows how close you are to the next one — with a pointer to the upgrade that gets you there fastest.Hover any upgrade to preview exactly what it does: every stat shown as current vs after purchase, including when a purchase newly OPENS a whole prey class.PERFORMANCENew Setting — RENDERER: Direct3D 12 / Vulkan. If the game runs slow on your machine, switch to VULKAN (applies after restart). On one tester's RTX 3070 Ti this took deep endless runs from single-digit FPS to 90-120 at full quality.New Setting — FPS CAP. With VSync off, cap the game at 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 / 144 / 240 to save heat, noise, and power.Smoother galaxy entry. The game now pre-warms every visual at boot — the heavy stutter when warping into a new galaxy for the first time is gone.Menus behave. The main menu and pause screen no longer render at absurd uncapped framerates. And if the game ever detects it's running badly, it now tells you — once — exactly which two settings usually fix it.FOR EVERY KIND OF PLAYERAll the new visuals respect your accessibility settings: Reduced Motion keeps every new glow and celebration static, Reduced Flashing dims them, and the colorblind palettes carry through the entire tree — nothing in this update is color-only.THANKSSpecial thanks to the players who reported the tree confusion and the performance issues, and especially to the tester who ran diagnostic builds until we found the exact cause. This update exists because of your feedback — keep it coming in the discussions.— Sorin
