Patch 0.83 introduces new features, visual upgrades, and key gameplay improvements based on community feedback. Here’s what’s new:

🌟 New Gameplay Feature: Action Cards

• Action Cards are now part of every match! At the start of each turn, you'll receive one Action Card to play instead of moving or building a ship.
• Cards offer unique strategic advantages, from defensive boosts to offensive plays.
• Each faction has a distinct set of cards, adding even more depth to your faction choice.

⚡ New Mechanic: Chain Reaction

• Capturing the enemy Flagship now triggers a Chain Reaction, instantly destroying their entire fleet.
• This removes the possibility of tie games and raises the stakes for protecting your Flagship.

🎥 Improved Battle Camera

• Camera angles during Battles have been enhanced to provide a more dynamic, angled view of the action—thanks to feedback from the Taipei Game Show.

🔄 New Action Indicator

• A new Action Indicator shows which actions each player has taken each turn, improving clarity and strategic planning.

🎆 Visual & Audio Upgrades

• Fragmentation now features new destruction animations for added impact.
• New sound effects have been added, including faction-specific thruster sounds.

🐞 Bug Fixes & Polish

• Various bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements.
