Ember and Blade Demo Update Roadmap for 2026

In continuation of our last announcement, we’re excited to share our structured demo update plan for the next three months.

From February through April, Ember and Blade will receive monthly updates focused on improving core systems, combat feel, and early-game clarity. Each phase builds toward a stronger, more complete version of the game ahead of our 2026 release.

Here’s what you can expect:

Phase 1 – February

Onboarding Experience Improvements

• Gauntlet weapon adjustments

• Improved Act I level flow

• New monsters in Act I

• Minimap added

• Blessing system rebuilt

• Relic system rebuilt

Phase 2 – March

Quality of Life Improvements

• Red dot notification support

• Key binding options

• Twin-stick option support

• Shay’s Hideout improvements

Phase 3 – March

New Content and Combat Improvements

• Arcana Meter progression content

• Rune slot progression content

• Boss vile monsters balance adjustments

• New attack patterns

• Flash counter improvements

Phase 4 – April

Prologue Update

• Prologue and tutorial updates

• Leaderboard event reopen

• Full localization support

• SFX polish

These updates focus on clarity, progression depth, and combat responsiveness.
Several core systems are being rebuilt, not patched, to better support long-term build variety and run identity.

We’ll continue sharing detailed patch notes with each release and the first update of the Ember and Blade demo update will take place on February 24th, 2026.

Your feedback continues to shape the direction of the demo, and we appreciate everyone who has taken the time to share thoughts and suggestions.

Thank you for playing and hope our community enjoys the updates and much as we enjoyed making them.
