Trailer in Progress, Demo on the Horizon

Hello everyone!

Today’s dev blog is a little different.

Right now, we are actively preparing our gameplay trailer, and while our editors are polishing and mastering the video, we wanted to share a few fresh screenshots from Age After Age and talk a little about what’s coming next.

We’re getting closer to a big step for the project and we’re excited to finally start showing more of the game in motion.

The Trailer Is Coming

Our gameplay trailer is currently in production.

It will focus on the atmosphere, the city itself, some of the gameplay flow, and the overall feeling we want players to experience when they enter the world of Age After Age.

While the full video is still being finalized, we wanted to give you an early glimpse through a few screenshots.

These images show part of what we are aiming for:

  • city life at night

  • UI and game management screens

  • the mood and visual direction of the world

Demo Plans

We are also preparing the first playable demo, and our current plan is to present it at the end of May.

This demo will not just be a free-build sandbox.
We want it to be a more meaningful introduction to the world and systems of the game.

Players will step into a city that already has its own issues, pressures, and weak points and part of the experience will be understanding what is wrong, stabilizing the settlement, and finding solutions.

This means the demo will give a first taste of what Age After Age is really about:

  • reading a city’s condition

  • solving supply and social problems

  • reacting to pressure

  • and understanding how different systems connect to one another

A Small Tease of the Lore

The demo will also contain the first hints of the world’s broader story.

We are not ready to reveal too much yet, but the city you play in will not exist in a vacuum.
Its condition, its challenges, and even some of the systems around it are connected to the larger lore behind the world of Age After Age.

For now, we want to keep this part mysterious.

But over time, we will reveal more:

  • more mechanics

  • more background story

  • more pieces of the world

  • and more reasons why your city develops the way it does

Deep Systems, Beautiful Cities

One of our core goals with Age After Age is to provide both:

  • a deep city management experience

  • and a world that is simply satisfying to look at

We want players to spend time thinking about logistics, classes, approval, laws, and internal economy, but when the planning is done, we also want them to zoom out and enjoy the city they built.

A good strategy game should not only be interesting to solve.
It should also be rewarding to watch.

That balance between management depth and visual atmosphere is something we continue to push with every update.

Localization in Progress

We are also working on bringing the game to more players through localization.

At the moment, we are preparing support for:

  • French

  • Brazilian Portuguese

  • Japanese

  • Chinese

  • Polish

  • Spanish

  • Italian

This is an important step for us, and we want more people to be able to experience the world of Age After Age in their own language.

More Soon

The next weeks are very important for the project.

We are moving toward:

  • the trailer reveal

  • the demo presentation

  • more system showcases

  • and more insight into the world behind the game

For now, these screenshots are just a small preview of what is coming.

Thank you for following development and we’ll have more to show very soon.

And of course subscribe to our YouTube channel to not miss the trailer.

So we bu…Community18 Aug 2026First Steampunk era preview screenshotsHello everyone! Today, we’re excited to share the first screenshots of the Steampunk Era in Age After Age.
