So of course, we have much improved lighting and fight mechanics. But also a slew of new bugs fixed.

  • Lighting had a drastic overhaul. Now everything is significantly brighter, the player now has a flashlight, and visibly, you now get to see the true beauty of the game.

  • Fight mechanics have changed for melee. Now, the swing has a cooldown of 1 second with a longer swing that has far more impact.

  • Enemies shriek when hit, jerk as a reaction, scream in pain, and with a headshot, their entire faces become covered in blood.

  • The sound effects have been altered and improved as well as Violet's voice acting when swinging this gigantic barbed bat.

  • The UI adjusts when you are within attack distance. Now, the reticule turns red and doubles in size if you are able to hit the enemy.

  • Laundry room locks you in to prevent you from searching for the break room in the hallways. Also, signs for meeting rooms have been placed to avoid confusion.

  • Fixed a bug where the player could aim and trigger a cutscene, causing Violet to face the wrong way during cutscenes.

All of these changes have come about because I watch you stream the game, so please, if you run into any more issues, please share them with me so I can get them fixed.

On the horizon, I'm looking to accomplish the following

  • Fix bug when cutscenes play, the weapon switches back to the bat

  • Control pad support

  • Localization

  • Indicator on which cylinder you are on during lock sequences.

Thank you again everyone who plays this game and has enjoyed it!

Just a couple patch notes that have been discovered through playtesting. · Enemies disengage after 10 units of space · Enemies despawn after 20 · Enemies will resume chase if you get to close after disengaging · Bug fix with changing sizes of screen and mission objective goes missing · NPC dialogue and trigger dialogues don't overlap anymore · When inspecting an item, a vignette app…Major update17 Jan 20260.2.0 - A complete rebuild of the Demo has arrived!I heard the feedback loud and clear — so I tore the demo apart and rebuilt it from the ground up. This new version still uses the same core systems and engine, but the experience itself is completely different. The biggest criticism wasn’t just combat — it was that the game wasn’t scary enough. So I stopped tweaking and did a full overhaul. This demo is no longer a revision of the last one. It’…
