submitting a score to spikepuzzle also submits your exact solution and a replay of how you did it
a leaderboard shows the top 5 cheapest and top 5 fastest solutions
the budget leaderboard uses submission time as the tiebreaker; checkpoint and death stats are just for fun
the time leaderboard first sorts by spike removes, then by time, so a 10 second run with no spike removes beats a 5 second run with 1 spike remove
you can load replays from the leaderboard (as well as your own) by clicking on the eyeball next to the entry
only runs that don't use checkpoints will be submitted to the time leaderboard
runs that use checkpoints have their replays stitched together from checkpoint to checkpoint, skipping over deaths and still frames
leaderboards are shown on clear, along with a looping replay of what you just did
edit ui is hidden when not in build mode
for now, all leaderboard submissions are public, but later will probably be hidden until the day is over
old WR stats for spikepuzzle are no longer accessible but I have a .csv of all the old data. to make up for it all getting clobbered, leaderboard submissions are now open for ALL past spikepuzzle dailies
also spikepuzzle archive now goes back to 2026-01-01 because why not
