Ciao everyone! I wanted to throw a little update here on Verismo's demo progress.
I still have a handful of sprites to draw and a couple cutscenes to refine, but after that I’m ready to release the demo. It’ll come out sometime in January, and first on itch.io. If I need to refine the build (as it’s my first game release ever), I’ll do that then launch it here on Steam shortly after.
It's about 15 minutes long, maybe a little longer if you want to interact with everything.
If all goes well, I’ll move forward with the full demo. It’ll have around an hour of playtime I’m guessing. And that demo will go to Steam Next Fest. Not sure which one I’ll make it to yet.

Part of a cutscene in which nothing goes wrong and nobody dies!
No set date yet. But I’ve learned a lot from making this initial demo, and I think I can work even smarter going forward. I’m desperate not to let this project drag out.
I’m going to rest for a little while before finishing up, but I hope you enter 2025 with a sense of optimism, because no matter the year you had before, at least there’s always a new one ahead.
