Developer Update & Patch Notes – February to March 2026

In this February–March update, we focused on improving the overall gameplay experience by refining map composition, combat feel, player controls, and UI/system features to make the game feel smoother and more stable.

In addition to improvements applied across both the Demo and the Full Game, we also worked on expanding new content and systems that will only be available in the Full Game.

[General Updates]

These improvements apply across both the Demo and the Full Game. Our focus was on enhancing map quality, combat presentation, controls, convenience, and overall system stability.

[Maps / Environment]

- Improved the Office map design.

- Improved the Gas Station map design.

- Added event subtitles to the Office map.

- Added newly accessible doors to the Office map.

- Opened up new areas in the Office map.

- Added newly accessible doors to the Gas Station map.

- Opened up new areas in the Gas Station map.

- Added event subtitles to the Gas Station map.

[Player / Controls]

- Improved the camera mode.

- Improved character rotation.

- Adjusted player movement animations.

- Improved directional melee attacks for more natural combat.

- Fixed various player-related bugs.

[Combat / Weapons]

- Improved the basic zombie attack animations.

- Added bullet hole effects to the point of impact when zombies are shot.

- Enhanced blood effects when zombies are hit.

- Added a feature where acquired large firearms are carried on the player’s back.

- Fixed bugs related to weapon switching.

- Improved melee weapon data.

- Adjusted melee weapon range.

- Improved the player’s melee weapon animations.

[Items / Inventory]

- Improved the inventory design and system.

- Fixed issues where zombies could get stuck around items.

- Added a glowing effect to important items.

- Improved issues related to item and weapon pickup.

[Sound / Presentation]

- Added a heartbeat sound effect when the player’s health is low.

- Improved the ending credits.

[UI / Systems]

- Improved the language settings.

- Improved subtitle-related options.

- Improved Game Over text and related systems.

- Added a key guide system that appears when pressing F1.

[Full Game Exclusive Updates]

The following updates apply only to the Full Game. To make the experience beyond the Demo richer and more immersive, we expanded both new areas and gameplay systems.

[Systems]

- Added a system that allows players to open doors with firearms.

- Added a checkpoint system.

- Improved the save system.

- Improved the shop system.

- Added a temporary minimap system that appears in the top-left corner of the HUD when pressing M.

- Added a HUD checkpoint widget.

[Maps / Content]

- Added the Park map.

- Added the School map.

[Combat / Balance]

- Adjusted the overall balance of pistols, shotguns, and rifles.

- Improved weapon drop positioning so dropped weapons are placed more naturally.

- Adjusted balance for each melee weapon type.

[Platform]

- Added Steam Deck support and it is currently being tested.
