I'm excited to report that the Debut Festival and the 4X Festival were awesome for building awareness of Vega Chronicle:

We more than doubled our wishlist count over about two weeks
We received feedback encouraging us to to translate the game into more languages, starting with Simplified Chinese, which we are currently working on.
We learned about other cool 4X games currently in development (Check out Folk Emerging).
