Hi! We hope everyone is having a great summer. It’s time for a small update on how things are progressing for Rocket Engineer. First things first, there were some changes of plans. Some feature that were planned to be added over the course of early access will be implemented at the early access release. It does result in a slightly longer delay than initially planned (see the previous development update) but is worth it. Over the next months you should see this change reflect on the Steam page. During the month of June, we've implemented many quality of life improvements, small changes, and graphical enhancements. The most noticeable changes are the UI/UX rework on the main menu and the new atmosphere/planet shaders, and the camera controller has been updated to allow dragging to move the camera. The visual identity is currently being enforced as we implement new textures and update the UI to match it. A lot of the focus has shifted to improve the user experience and user interface. This month saw the completion of the 0.1.x versions and the team has started working on the 0.2 which adds much more features. Also, a new developer recently joined the team (rtificr), helping the development to go faster than before and making important changes.
