| Game update | rewrote some dialogue, improved the help pages, and added a few more letters. I rewrote some dialogue, improved the help pages, and added a few more letters. There are now 18 letters in total. Drawing them has actually been really fun. The letter in the screenshot is one of the new ones from this update. I think it turned out pretty cute. 1. Added several new letters 2. Improved the player help section 3. Updated the dialogue in the first story and added wrong-answer opt… | — | |
| Major update | Lots of new hand-drawn art + visitors arriving on the island New Features 1. Lots of new hand-drawn art + visitors arriving on the island I added a lot of hand-drawn illustrations. Visitors can now come to the island, so if you have time, please open the game and check it out! Right now, a child visitor can appear. I’ll be reading everyone’s feedback to decide future story developments, and whether other visitors will arrive later on. Bunny also makes ta… | — | |
| Game update | Small Update: Mushroom and Grape VFX Changes I rewrote the VFX for grapes and mushrooms. They used to be shader-based; now they’re done with VFX. I think the way the grape vines grow upward looks pretty nice. I watched it many times. Also fixed some bugs that were completely unexpected. After the previous version was released, I discovered that the old shader animations had stopped working. No errors, no warnings—they just didn’t play at… | — | |
| Major update | Behold, 1000 Bunnies!! Feature Updates · The island can now host one thousand Bunnies. Just open the Invite panel and drag the slider. No conditions. No quests. Just… Bunnies. A lot of them. I still don’t know what players’ computers will do with this. If most machines explode, I’ll cap it back to 100. On my computer, one thousand Bunnies runs at 60–70 fps. · Added a visual debug panel. The pig, bird, and some items… | — | |
| Game update | Game Update: Bunny Optimization + Mesh Merge No need to open if you're an old player — no gameplay changes. I've refactored part of the bunny code and merged their meshes to improve performance. ------------------------------ I reduced the number of skinned meshes, and the game runs faster now. It was a painful and tedious process, but I did learn some new things. Maybe the next game will be better because of it. I’m honestly afraid all t… | — | |
| Game update | Minor Performance Improvement Converted bone animation to vertex animation Lately, I’ve been working on improving performance. The game had too many bone animations, which really slowed things down. One of the biggest culprits was the large blooming tree. I rewrote the flower animation using shaders and vertex animation instead of bones—each petal now rotates around its axis via math, not rigging. It runs much faster now and even has fewer vertices! But then came the… | — | |
| Game update | Small updates: UI and input method code refactored. Old players don’t need to update—there’s not much difference. Minor VFX tweaks: plants now shrink and disappear when the bunny walks through fields and flower beds. Major rewrite of the input method code. The old version was a messy pile from early development. It took a lot of effort to clean up and rebuild properly. Think of it as replacing a house made of glue and mud with one built from woo… | — |
