Patch Notes — Feb 18–20, 2026

Gameplay

- Updated Degradation System

- Snake Enemies Reworked — Snake enemies now use a new orbit behavior state.

- Wave Balancing — Updated wave compositions, enemy counts, and enemy HP tuning.

- Reactor Power Lines — New reactor power line system connecting towers.

- Defense System Improvements — Expanded defense handler with new combat context options.

- Orb Spawn Weights — Node orbs now use a tuned weighted drop system for better distribution.

- Spawn Direction — Enemies now spawn with directional awareness.

- Disabled Snake Self-Collision — The snake can no longer collide with itself.

- Game Over Rework — Improved game over flow with new painting system integration on death.

UI & Menus

- Controller Support Fixes — Fixed not being able to switch inputs when on a different tab in menus.

- Tab Bar Animations — Added tween animations to the upgrade tab bar.

- Bumper Fade Effects — Menu bumpers now fade in and out smoothly.

- Wishlist Button — Added a wishlist button to the end-of-level screen.

- Label Fixes — Corrected various UI label issues.

Audio

- New Sound Effects — Added new SFX for enemy hits, pulse abilities, UI navigation, and button presses.

- Updated Button Sounds — Refreshed UI button sound effects with new holographic/sci-fi tones.

Bug Fixes

- Fixed Max Segment Issue — Resolved a bug with snake segment cap not working correctly.

- Fixed Rocket Behavior — Patched rocket projectile edge case.

- Fixed Paint Upgrade — Paint upgrade now applies correctly.

- Object Pool Bump — Increased damage number pool size to prevent pooling issues.
