Trials co op now puts your whole party on one shared board.
Each player owns their own section and can only build there.
A glowing purple crack shows where your section ends.
Every player gets their own checkpoint and at least one zone.
Extra checkpoints are shared out evenly and at random.
Which player the enemies reach first changes every map.
Supply and gold are split evenly between players.
Only player 1 can place the upgrader, so agree on it first.
A four player round now takes about as long as a solo round.
Gold now counts up as you kill and lands at the end of the round.
Messages about why you cannot build appear next to your cursor.
Towers have new art at every tier.
Crystals show both elements when a tower sits on a combo tile.
A cataclysm tile now pulses its crystal through rainbow colours.
New rocks and pits appear on the board.
Quit now sits on the home screen under Settings.
You can reconnect to a match you dropped out of when you next launch the game.
Gold stops climbing once wave size reaches its cap.
