Network Test Begins + Official Ferrous Wiki Launch!

Hello everyone!

We've got two major announcements for the Ferrous community for our July into August update. We've heard your feedback to ZeroSum's podcasts, as well as your warm messages of support, your support means the world to us! To celebrate the Wiki and our new milestones we would like to show you a new Teaser Trailer made in collaboration with French Animator BeurreBreton!

Multiplayer & Modding Network Test

The Ferrous Network Test is coming within the next one to two weeks. The NT Patch will be added and another announcement will be made. If you want to participate it is highly suggested that you comment on this announcement, comment in out Steam Community, or join our Discord where the Test is being conducted as an event with additional fun and a watch party being planned as per our weekly VHS Club which we are combining with this event!

This testing phase is focused on two major systems that will shape the future of Ferrous:

  • ⚔️ Multiplayer

  • 🛠️ Mod Support

If you've been interested in battling other players or creating your own content, now is the perfect time to jump in and help us test these features. We will also begin trying to get the Workshop rolled out while the game is still in Early Access.

During the Network Test we'll be looking for feedback on:

  • Multiplayer stability and synchronization

  • Matchmaking and connectivity issues

  • Mod loading and compatibility

  • General bugs, crashes, and quality-of-life improvements

Please remember that this is an active test. You may encounter bugs, unfinished features, balance issues, or unexpected behavior. Every report helps us improve these systems before their full release.

If you run into any issues or have suggestions, we'd love to hear from you through the Steam discussions or our Discord.

The Official Ferrous Wiki is Live!

We're also excited to announce the launch of the Official Ferrous Wiki!

The wiki serves as the central hub for everything Ferrous, including:

  • Unit and faction information

  • Weapons and equipment

  • Game mechanics

  • Campaign lore

  • Development documentation

  • Modding resources

  • And much more as the project continues to grow.

Whether you're a new pilot looking to learn the basics or a veteran planning your next build, the wiki will continue expanding alongside the game.

Thank You

Ferrous has come a long way thanks to everyone's feedback, bug reports, and support throughout Early Access. With this feature we have just a few more things to add before reaching the final stage of Early Access: Campaigns and Singleplayer QoL features which we look forward to discussing with everyone soon!

The Network Test and the new Wiki are both important milestones as we continue building toward the full vision of Ferrous.

See you on the battlefield! And in our Discord!
