OMEGA PHENEX COMMENCED PROJECT SIX Playtest · published

In this update, we have added new features, made various balance adjustments based on your feedback, and fixed numerous bugs.■ New Features & Additions""TEST"" Feature Implemented: Added a test mode in the Garage, allowing you to freely test weapons and mech performance in a wide, enemy-free space. (We plan to add features to spawn enemies as an option in the future update.)Resolution Options Added: Newly supported multiple monitor resolutions (configurable from the Options screen).Camera Settings Added: Added an ""Invert X-Axis"" camera option in the settings.■ Balance Adjustments & Changes[Action & Controls]Aim Assist Adjustment: Strengthened the aim assist for enemies in the center of the screen when using a gamepad. This reduces camera shake at close range and provides more comfortable aiming.VR DUEL Timer: Adjusted the timer to stop the exact moment the enemy Icarus is destroyed, making it easier to push for extreme time attacks.Increased Missile Capacity: Significantly increased the total ammo capacity for Small and Middle Missiles from 100 to 180 rounds, reducing the stress of running out of ammo during missions.Enemy Unit HP & Hitbox Adjustments: Reduced the HP and revised the hitboxes of certain enemy units (e.g., APC, WALKER) to improve the overall game tempo.Enemy Icarus AI Adjustments:Adjusted the AI to prevent the enemy Icarus from repeatedly making extreme ascents and descents.Aerial Mobility Adjustment: Increased the upward boost power immediately following a Rapid Descent to allow for more intuitive and comfortable aerial combat.[Mission-Related]MISSION 2: Decreased the total number of enemy spawns and moved up the timing of the shield tutorial to optimize the difficulty curve for first-time players.MISSION 3 : Added a brief delay before accepting confirm inputs immediately after the combat evaluation screen appears, preventing accidental inputs during reward selection.MISSION 4 : Adjusted (lowered) the brightness of the snow mountain level to improve overall visibility.■ Bug Fixes[Critical Progression & System Fixes]Fatal TUNE Bug: Fixed an issue where loading a preset enhanced by TUNE would cause the enhancement values to multiply abnormally.Progression Blocker (MISSION 1): Fixed an issue where the game would become stuck on a black screen after the demo movie, and an issue where the movie would continue if the player and the tutorial boss killed each other simultaneously.Progression Blocker (MISSION 3): Fixed an issue where using Overdrive for the first time during the post-combat dialogue would halt story progression.Key Config Reset: Fixed an issue where changed keybindings would reset to default upon restarting the game.Mouse Input Bug: Fixed an issue where mouse inputs were not registered after sortieing until the screen was clicked once.[Other Fixes]General / UI:Improved the Garage screen to accept right-clicks as a ""Back"" action (equivalent to the Esc key).Fixed an issue in dual-monitor setups where clicking outside the game during full-screen mode would minimize the game window.Fixed issues in the customization screen where stat comparisons upon changing parts were not immediately reflected, and detailed specs were sometimes unviewable.Fixed an incorrect description for the Shoulder Gatling Gun, along with other minor typos and text errors.Mech & Weapon Actions:Fixed an issue where the player's mech would shake violently during high-speed falls.Fixed an issue where using Overdrive after running out of ammo with certain weapons would render them unable to fire.Fixed an issue where applying the ""Faster Reload"" TUNE would prevent the weapon from reloading after firing a single shot.Fixed an issue where changing parts while the ""AP Enhancement"" TUNE was applied would decrease the mech's weight.In-Mission Behavior:MISSION 2: Fixed issues where flying drones would enter the water and become untargetable, and where enemies would fly out of bounds.MISSION 2: Fixed a text bug where the Exceed Boost explanation displayed gamepad inputs even when using a keyboard.MISSION 5: Adjusted enemy units so they do not exceed the upper area limits.■ Known Issues (Currently Under Investigation/Fixing)
We have confirmed the following issues in our development environment and are working on fixes.[Critical] Startup Crash on Certain PCs (Fatal error!):
We have confirmed a crash caused by conflicts with the game's startup process in some environments equipped with an Intel NPU (AI processing unit).
Temporary Workaround: If you experience this crash, temporarily disabling the NPU via the Device Manager may allow the game to start.General: Changing key configurations and moving to another tab may sometimes cause the settings not to be applied.MISSION 3: An issue where some enemies clip through the terrain (under the mountain), making them unreachable by attacks."

Addendum (18:20): We are aware of a newly discovered bug where UI messages fail to appear properly upon game exit or when obtaining a new Icarus.
