This update improves long-distance route generation and autopilot navigation, particularly for flights between East Asia and Europe.
Fixes and Improvements
Fixed an issue where the autopilot could suddenly leave the planned route and turn east after passing the Lake Baikal region.
Corrected a world-coordinate wrap error that could create an extremely long, invalid route segment during intercontinental flights.
Improved autopilot route tracking to prevent it from selecting previous or incorrect route segments.
Fixed route progress, remaining distance, and descent calculations affected by invalid route segments.
Added automatic recovery for affected routes loaded from existing save files.
Updated route generation to prevent flights from crossing North Korean territory, except when departing from or arriving at a North Korean airport.
Corrected the ICN–LHR route so westbound European flights now travel through the Yellow Sea, China, Mongolia/Central Asia, and onward toward Europe instead of incorrectly turning toward Russia’s Far East.
Improved longitude normalization for destinations located across the global coordinate boundary.
Improved route-direction selection for European, North American, Japanese, and Russian Far East destinations.
These changes provide more stable and realistic navigation for long-haul international flights.
