Beast Market Playtest Patch Notes v0.20260812.3

Beast Market Playtest · published · build 24695651

This update fixes core-reward and hunt-progression desynchronization reported since v0.20260812.2. It also adds the Mailbox, a dedicated Rune screen, and first-clear status indicators.

Core rewards and hunt progression

  • Rapidly switching equipment presets or quests, returning to combat after an equipment-change failure, and repeating the re-entry could stack hunt restarts. The next defeat could then grant x2 or x3 Hunt Cores and Part-Break Cores. Change requests are now processed in order, the next hunt waits for server confirmation, and each hunt result is settled exactly once.

  • Changing equipment or quests during combat could restart the hunt even when the change failed. Failed changes now leave the hunt untouched, while successful changes take effect from the start of the next hunt.

  • Switching quests, equipment, or screens immediately after an AP action could leave rewards behind settlement, allow one pending result to block later Cores, or make them appear lost after a restart. Each hunt result now settles independently, and the UI reloads confirmed inventory totals from the server.

  • Acting during the defeat animation could let the server finish the hunt while the monster was still visibly moving, causing Cores to appear first. Rewards now appear only after the combat-ending presentation finishes.

  • Enemy names in combat now identify Standard, Empowered, and Apex variants.

First-clear rewards and Mailbox

  • Added a Mailbox for operator notices and item deliveries. The top-bar mail button displays the unread count.

  • Guaranteed first-clear blueprints are now delivered through the Mailbox instead of being bundled into a Core.

  • A first-clear blueprint is selected evenly from six categories—weapon, head, chest, arms, waist, and legs—and always matches the defeated variant.

  • Added separate first-clear badges for Standard, Empowered, and Apex monsters on Quest Select images.

  • First-clear records have been reset for the Playtest following this system change. Each monster and variant can award its first-clear reward again.

Runes

  • Added a dedicated screen for equipping, crafting, and dismantling Runes.

  • Removing a Rune and moving the pointer to another candidate could make the Build screen jump, while the pending-change bar covered later rows. Rune equipping, crafting, and dismantling now live on a dedicated screen with stable candidate and control areas.

  • Aligned Rune category names with the skills they actually improve. Affected skills are now listed in-game and on the Wiki.

  • Documented the weapon progression that provides six to nine Rune slots in-game and on the Wiki.

Presets and Charms

  • Selecting a recommended-monster preset and quickly selecting another could change server-side equipment while leaving the previous visuals on screen. Preset requests are now processed in order, and visuals update immediately to the equipment confirmed by the server.

  • Workshop Assistant now supports crafting five or ten Charms at once. Single crafting remains available.

  • Standardized the item name as “Charm” throughout the game.

Steam authentication

  • Reconnecting after sleep or a long-running session with an expired Steam ticket could be mistaken for a Steam-wide outage and prevent reauthentication. Invalid tickets are now identified correctly; the client obtains a fresh ticket and reconnects.

Gold and Wiki

  • Rebalanced monster Gold so rewards consistently increase from Standard to Empowered to Apex for the same monster.

  • Increased the Apex reward for the first six monsters from 156 to 270 Gold.

  • Updated the Monster Guide, Rune categories, weapon Rune slots, and Gold rewards on the Wiki to match the current game.

Traditional Chinese for Hong Kong

  • Traditional Chinese for Hong Kong is now available in the game, Wiki, official website, Steam store and DLC descriptions, Terms of Service, and Privacy Policy.

  • Playtest patch notes are now published in five languages: Japanese, English, Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese for Hong Kong.
