No more waiting on a flat menu , creating or joining a server now drops you into a cozy toy-workshop room.
Your picked body stands right there in the room, changes the moment you re-pick it, and what you see is what spawns when the match starts.
The new lobby screen brings the roster, map card, chat (ENTER) and voice (U) together, with host controls tucked bottom-right , guests only see what they can actually use.
If you disconnect mid-match, the game now offers to put you right back into the match you fell out of , your slot is held and your body stays standing where you left it.
Joining a friend mid-match puts you in spectator until the round lets you in properly, and if a Seeker drops, someone takes over instead of the round stranding.
Body-paint syncing is smoother and framerate-independent, disconnected players no longer haunt scores and results, and a batch of networking fixes make long sessions more stable.
Coming next: a start countdown the host can cancel, and an in-game Steam friends panel and more... Keep the bug reports coming!
