The lobby is a real place now
- No more menu screen: you spawn INTO the level before the match and walk around with everyone else — build, paint, pose, taunt and chat while you wait.
- The controls are physical: walk up to a station to start the match, change your body (it changes on you instantly), or open match settings.
- Want to hunt? Stand on the HUNTER PAD before the countdown ends to volunteer.
- The pre-match countdown is 15 seconds, and hunters wait in a sealed room during hiding — released at the whistle.
- Esc opens the pause menu in the lobby too, with full game settings.
End-of-match showcase
When the round ends, every player's creation goes on stage — and everyone VOTES for their favourite disguise. Results also show real names on the scoreboard and kill feed.
Spectators fight back
- Caught? Throw BANANAS from spectator mode. They leave peels on the ground, and anyone who steps on one goes flying onto their back.
- Taunting now pays hiders real score — announced in the kill feed with a running total. Loud, risky, profitable.
Paint and forge, rebuilt
- The colour you pick is EXACTLY the colour you wear — the whole paint pipeline was rebuilt for true colour in light and shadow.
- Paint can shine and GLOW: metallic, gloss and emission work on your skin, and everyone else sees them.
- New FILL tool, a fixed eyedropper, and one honest brush-size value that sticks.
- Hunters pick their weapon type, hold the gun in hand while forging, and can decorate their body during the forge.
Climbing and movement
- Climb over ledges at the top of a wall, keep your grip riding along one, and grab from a friendlier distance.
- Everyone SEES you climbing now, with a proper hanging pose and on-wall control hints.
- Fall out of the world? Hunters respawn, hiders go to spectate — no more limbo.
Sound and interface
- Music, jump feedback, a cartoon-bongo panic cue when a hunter closes in, and impact sounds that match what you shot.
- Your volume settings now survive scene changes.
- Floating name plates (toggle 2), taunt menu on T with number picks, and the whole UI is localised — with proper Chinese font support.
- Match timers now count down to the same instant on every screen.
Fixes
- Painted blocks keep their paint for everyone, guns no longer jitter or sit backwards in remote hands, and poses can't get stuck.
- No more losing your spawn or role on a bad frame, the server browser stops dropping lobbies, disguises don't collide with their wearer, and an open panel now owns the Escape key.
Heads up
The network protocol jumped several versions — everyone must update before playing together, or you won't see each other's lobbies.
This is the biggest update yet. Go break it, and tell us what you find!
