Controller vibration: controllers now buzz softly when you click, grab, scroll, and resize overlays in VR. Turn it off or adjust the strength under Settings → OpenVR → Haptics.
Desktop handoff settings: tune how quickly the VR pointer takes back control after you use your physical mouse or keyboard, under Settings → OpenVR → General.
Bug Fixes
Fixed bumping your desk mouse knocking out the VR pointer for several seconds. Light bumps now hand control back almost immediately, and pulling the trigger on an overlay reclaims VR control right away.
Fixed slow, deliberate overlay drags briefly freezing in place and then jumping to catch up.
Fixed overlay push/pull and resize moving too fast on high-refresh-rate headsets (about a third too fast at 120 Hz).
Fixed overlays sometimes sticking to an idle hand on controllers with noisy grip sensors.
Improvements
Grabbing an overlay now brings it to the front, push/pull stops at a usable range instead of pulling through your head or drifting into the distance, and the joystick is more precise near the center.
The VR keyboard now appears lower and slightly tilted back for a more relaxed typing angle, and positions itself correctly when you're lying down.
Snappier dashboard input: the first click or scroll after the dashboard has been idle responds immediately, and fast pointer movement and scrolling are smoother.
Readability and accessibility pass across the dashboard: higher-contrast text and error colors, larger targets for the VR laser, toggles that flip when you click anywhere on their row, a hint when a settings page has more content below — and the "a11y" tab is now properly labeled "Accessibility".
