Patch Notes - Upgrade UI, Enemy AI, Audio, and Controller Navigation

Upgrade UI Improvements

  • Upgrade Readiness Tracking - During upgrade phases, players can now see which teammates have confirmed their selections and who is still deciding.
  • Improved Reroll Option - Rerolls now have a dedicated option and are easier to access with controller navigation.
  • Upgrade Card Presentation - Added improved rarity rank visuals and card effects for clearer upgrade choices.

UI & Controller Navigation

  • Expanded UI Navigation - Character select, mission setup, inventory, level-up, Hub shops, settings, game-over, and other menus now share more consistent controller focus and pointer behavior.
  • Automatic Focus & Back Navigation - Menus now select a valid control automatically, and cancel/back input closes the active menu more reliably.

Enemy AI & Traversal

  • Flying Enemy Movement - Flying enemies now smooth their target following, detect obstacles earlier, and steer around obstructions more proactively.
  • Jump Traversal Fixes - Enemies no longer reject valid jump links, while one-way drop links remain protected from incorrect upward traversal.

Audio & Combat Feedback

  • Direct Hit Marker Audio - Direct player shots now provide hit confirmation audio, while area, damage-over-time, and proc damage remain separate.
  • Enemy Audio Prioritization - Nearby enemy movement and idle audio is prioritized to reduce overlap and improve combat clarity.

Communication Polish

  • Ping Cooldown - Increased the ping cooldown to 2 seconds for cleaner team communication.
