New Features

  • Rocket Launcher Perk Paths - Added a full Rocket Launcher perk tree with new upgrade paths:
    • Cluster Payload - Detonations split into three rockets.
    • Shaped Charge - Split rockets use a tighter cone and deal increased damage.
    • Long-Fuse Warhead - Rockets gain a larger explosion the longer they travel.
    • Napalm Payload - Explosions leave a burning field.
    • Chain Reaction - Split-rocket kills trigger a secondary explosion.
    • Target Painter - Marks enemies for bonus split and homing rocket damage.
    • Terminal Guidance - Split rockets steer toward marked enemies.
    • Homing Explosion - Manual detonations release four homing projectiles that inherit on-hit upgrades.

  • Orbital Strike Rework - Hold Special to place a ground target, then release to call down five orbital lasers around the selected area.
  • Orbital Strike Progression - Added support for perks that increase the number of orbital laser strikes.
  • Orbital Strike Feedback - Added updated activation visuals, impact effects, and audio feedback.

Gameplay Improvements

  • Procedural Hazard Alerts - Falcon Sweep and Lava events now keep their warning display and alarm audio active when the event begins.
  • Separate Room Progress UI - Room-clear progress remains visible without being overwritten by active hazard warnings.
  • Mortar Enemy Tuning - Mortar projectiles now travel faster with a flatter trajectory, making incoming shots more immediate and readable.

Bug Fixes and Polish

  • Improved Orbital Strike target placement and ground validation.
  • Improved projectile collision filtering for specialized projectile effects.
  • Improved Rocket Launcher perk interactions, split projectile handling, and homing target assignment.
  • Improved procedural event audio cleanup when transitioning between rooms and hazards.
