Onboarding:

  • Expanded and updated the onboarding area.
  • Added a movement tutorial covering WASD movement and right-mouse camera controls.
  • The movement tutorial appears only when first entering onboarding with a new character.
  • Updated the default character starting position for the expanded onboarding environment.
  • Player movement now properly follows changes in the terrain’s elevation.

Vitalities and Regeneration:

  • Rebalanced hitpoint, stamina, and mana regeneration during combat.
  • Updated regeneration behavior based on character race and profession.
  • Reworked resting recovery to restore vitalities more consistently.
  • Fixed stamina and mana UI bars becoming out of sync with their actual values after leveling up.
  • Leveling up now restores hitpoints, stamina, and mana to full and immediately updates their UI bars.
  • Fixed stamina sometimes appearing to update only after movement while mana remained visually frozen.

Loot Interaction:

  • Improved loot interaction-distance detection.
  • Loot bags now calculate range from the nearest point on their collider instead of their object origin.
  • Fixed an issue where the loot window could open while the player was still considered too far away to collect items.
  • Loot windows now use the same improved distance calculation when determining whether the player has moved out of range.

Widescreen Support:

  • Added improved support for widescreen and ultrawide resolutions.
  • Updated UI layouts to better adapt to different screen dimensions and aspect ratios.
  • Improved menu and HUD positioning to prevent UI elements from stretching, clipping, or appearing off-screen.

Accessibility:

  • Added a new Accessibility panel to the Settings menu.
  • Added accessibility options for customizing the gameplay and presentation experience.
  • Improved the Settings menu layout to accommodate the new accessibility controls.

Persistence and General Fixes:

  • Updated onboarding position and rotation settings while preserving existing serialized values.
  • Fixed several UI and gameplay inconsistencies discovered during onboarding and combat testing.
