A small update focused on UI improvements and making the little train more useful.If you've already played the game, you don't need to open it just for this update. There aren't any other major new features.
Thank you to the helpful players who gave me feedback! It was super helpful!I reorganized the categories and added gameplay tips directly into them, so hopefully the UI is a little friendlier for new players now.I'm very lucky to have such helpful players. Please take a look at the new version, and if you have any other thoughts, leave me a message. I'll keep improving it!
Bunnies can now ride the train around the island by themselves.The train can also be used to transport items!
Letters are now delivered roughly once every 3 minutes.
Once the game is complete, all letters will be unlocked on the final page of the story.
So if you make it all the way to the ending, you can read every letter. If you accidentally missed a few along the way, don't worry!
The ending is written.It will be made with text and hand-drawn illustrations, and it will be quite different from the stories before it.This also means I don't have to worry about bugs and testing for the ending quite as much. I can simply focus on writing one ending.The ending is very important, so I've decided on the ending first. Then I'll design the story right before it.I treat you guys like friends, so I like talking about everything with you.But I also keep reminding myself:Players only get one first experience. Don't ruin it.So I'm going to keep updating the story in chronological order, and release the ending last.Recently, I finally went outside for a walk. I hadn't really gone out in a long time.I heard some children playing somewhere in the distance.And suddenly I realized—children being noisy are actually in stereo.They're running around in different directions, so their voices are coming from everywhere.I think I've been sitting in front of my computer for too long.
I almost forgot such a simple thing.After finishing the ending, I felt a little sentimental.I was watching the sunset by the road, and it felt a lot like the final scene of a movie.I'll keep rewriting the ending again and again.And even after the game is released, if you don't like it, I'll change it again.Anyway, I'll try my best to leave no regrets.
Before the ending, I still want to make one slightly more complicated story.I estimate it will take about a month if everything goes smoothly...assuming the bugs don't beat me into the ground first. Thank you for being my players.And thank you for staying with my little bunnies.
